In 2022, I engaged with Canada Wide Exterior for a substantial project that encompassed parging, new stucco, house painting, and sealing, among other things. Initially, there were significant delays, particularly regarding scaffolding delivery.
As the work commenced, the house began to take shape. Despite providing detailed drawings of the desired outcome, there were numerous instances of redo work. Jeremy and Frank made corrections when I pointed out issues, except when they deemed it not worthwhile.
During the summer, a piece of slab rock fell off the front area of the house. I contacted Jeremy for a fix, and the team decided to replace it with stucco but left it unfinished and unsealed. Unfortunately, during the process, concrete ended up on the garage doors, and when I asked for it to be removed, they damaged the doors while attempting to fix them. They promised to paint the doors but only spot-fixed them, resulting in an unsatisfactory appearance.
Additionally, it's worth noting that during the stucco replacement work, the workers left concrete footprints all over the steps and driveway, adding to the list of issues encountered during this project.
Regrettably, Jeremy has now blocked my communication. I understand there's a lot of work, and I've been patient throughout the summer, but the situation is frustrating. I've attached pictures for reference.
In my personal experience, I cannot recommend Canada Wide Exteriors. While they offer a 5-year warranty, if you need to exercise it, they may leave you to handle issues on your own. To ensure the house isn't further damaged over the winter, I've had to hire other contractors to complete the work.
