I went through HomeStars to find a professional to diagnose and repair the dishwasher. I since learned that it is up to the consumer to research the business the contact you to make a service call. As we know reviews are not 100% reliable as anybody is able to write a review.
Appliance Repair fast Saskatoon contacted me an scheduled an appointment. Technician misdiagnosed the problem, charged mileage which I specifically asked and was told no mileage. I installed slides on both sides of upper rack as I was told dishwasher only needed to be reset and was working 100%. Following installation it was discovered there was still no hot water. The business was contacted and the boss said he would visit the next day at 1pm after waiting 4 hours I called the office. They were not aware. He arrived at 7 pm and tried telling me it was getting hot water but was not warm enough to dissolve soap. Finally he says the control board needs replacing. I was not happy about mileage, misdiagnosed, installing part. Etc. The boss agrees to pay for the part that was installed. It took 2 weeks of emails, texts and phone calls to receive the $62 for the part. He would promise and not follow through Day after day. I would not recommend this business.
