Alberto has been my go to contractor for many jobs around my home. For this big project he coordinated and organized all the work that had to be done in my home. This included the replacement of my old flooring with new engineered hardwood as well as tiling, plus adding a doorway in my bedroom, plus widening the hallway Walls, and also organizing electrical work that had to be done. He did everything for a reasonable cost. He also did some wxtra things that werent part of the job for no cost. All of his work was perfect. Great customer service. First time I ever had a contractor come to the house and do any work that had no issues afterward. He has done other smaller projects for me and never disappoints. As I said, he is my go to guy for whatever work I need done.

We had a bathroom leak upstairs in one of our rentals and we had Alberto come out and finish up for us. The photo doesnt do justice. Very well done from start to finish

I've renovated a number of homes of the last few years and dealt with many contractors, both good and not so so good, and Alberto is absolutely top tier in every regard.

We needed to put up two walls, with doors, to re-create bedrooms that had been opened up by the previous owner. Aside from the high quality of work and price (he was similar to other quotes), his superpower as a contractor is that he the best communicator I've ever worked with. He listened to what we were trying to achieve (the project had some quirks and I'm specific about what I want) and was excellent in making suggestions and adjustments as we moved forward. And if he wasn't sure about something he asked! (This is not as common as one might hope).

The quality of work was top-notch, done quickly and efficiently with great respect for our home.

My only reservation about giving Alberto and AMD such a glowing review is that we will most certainly want to hire him again and I'm worried he'll be too busy! Other than that, I couldn't recommend him more highly. :-)

I had been in the process of designing my new kitchen for my condo for over a year. My plan was to order from a company that delivered kitchen cupboards that I needed to build and have installed. When Alberto came to give me a quote, he listened to my ideas and gave me information to guide me in the right direction when making the best decisions for my renovations. He went over options with me and recommended going with another company that delivered pre-built cupboards that were better quality and reasonably priced. Of course, there was no pressure from Alberto, as he only wanted to be sure that I was aware of all my options. I appreciated his expertise! This recommendation Alberto made also gave me the pantry I so desperately wanted where my other option did not so I was very happy! My old kitchen was completely demolished including a partial removal of the bulkhead. I had new cabinets installed, new laminate flooring, new bulkhead built with electrical boxes installed for my new pendant lights and a new backsplash. What a huge difference!

The overall experience was very easy. The whole process was approximately three weeks long. Alberto is very personable and easy to approach with new ideas as the project moves along! He is very professional, takes pride in his work and is reasonably priced when quoting jobs. He cares about results and his main goal is ensuring that his clients are happy with his workmanship. We recently hired AMD Construction to build a mid-sized platform deck for our shed to sit on. After receiving a handful of unreasonable quotes for labour alone, we connected with Alberto who gave us a fair quote for the project.

He was incredibly responsive and helpful as we prepped for his arrival and materials arrived when he said they would. The end result is exactly what we wanted because he made sure to take the time to discuss all the design / structure details with myself before starting and shared any need to deviate from the plan and why.
