D3 Renovations

D3 Renovations was one of a few contractors we had come out to quote for 2 bathroom renovations: one for a general update on a 70s style bathroom, the other a complete demolish and remodel of the existing small primary ensuite bathroom and its adjoining walk-through closet to make a walk-in closet with a spacious bathroom. They were not the "least expensive" quote but were the most professional and took the time to really listen to what we wanted and provide helpful suggestions or recommendations that best fit our space and wants. Walter, Alvaro and Beatriz were professional, honest and seemed genuinely excited about the plan. During demolitions, they made a tent in the room to try and contain as much of the dust and debris as possible and tidied up each day. Throughout the project, we were constantly being updated about timelines and schedules. Alvaro would check in regularly about placements, materials and preferences so he could make sure we got exactly what we wanted. If we were on the fence, he provided helpful suggestions. Walter regularly went out of his way to make sure the quality was on point. For example, our bedroom ceiling paint (i.e. not part of the renovation but connected to the closet & bathroom space) had not been touched up probably since the house was built and he noticed that it looked inconsistent with the new spaces and stood out so (after checking with us) he painted it to match. Walter, Alvaro and the team made the experience of renovations - something typically stressful and exhausting - something we were excited for every day. Even our neighbours commented on how nice they were to interact with when they were outside! We were just so overwhelmingly pleased with the professionalism, responsiveness and positive attitude of everyone who came into the space. Even when small things would crop up, they were quick to respond, diligent and thorough in making sure everything was meeting (and exceeding) our expectations. In summary, we would highly recommend D3 Renovations and will be seeking them out again for future projects!
