As required, focusing on the work completed by URE, I provide the following reflection, without prejudice, on UREs workmanship. In my view, continue shopping for another roofing contractor.
1) URE was contracted to repair roof areas and install quality rubber shingles.
These new high-quality rubber shingles began fish mouthing and rainwater was collecting in the un-repaired areas, written in my contract, with URE.
2) Attempts were made to resolve workmanship with UREs owner, including my providing extensive photos to him. UREs owner setup many dates and times suitable to his work-time schedule to meet and resolve URE installation and contractual deficiencies.
3) Months passed, and the owner never arrived for his scheduled appointments, confirming UREs owner set aside, his assertion Our attention to detail, dedication to customer service and quality workmanship.
4) UREs owner failed to remedy his companys workmanship and our contractual agreement. I contacted the shingle manufacturer. The shingle manufactured stepped in ensuring the URE owner arrive to rectify the lack of quality in UREs workmanship.
5) UREs owner arrived with TWO roofers to assert UREs workmanship embraced attention to detail. However, visual and behavioural evidence proved UREs dedication to customer service and quality workmanship was set aside in our contract for work. Feedback on UREs owner, as displayed, at our meeting, was provided to the shingle manufacturer.
5) At the shingle manufacturers request, UREs was placed in a position to hire and pay a subcontractor, to remove shingles and perform contractual repairs, asserted by UREs owner to have been done. The rubber shingles had contact cement applied and were kicked in to resolve the fish mouthing.
6) As established, the inferior workmanship, by UREs workers, and companys published commitments are only words, until a third party mediated my contract.
7) In my opinion, UREs workmanship lacks quality and only written words for a commitment towards customer service. As experienced UREs owner demonstrated unwillingness to rectify inferior work completed by his company, without intervention. In my view, please keep shopping, as written without prejudice.
