AVOID this company at all costs
LG replaced furnace and installed heatpump in Nov 23 as part of energy rebate program. Pre and Post audits were done by outside contractor setup through LG. Now this outside contractor is calling and sending me bills since LG has not paid them for the audits as outlined in my contract with LG. Now MY credit rating is being affected! Outside auditor handles paperwork for rebate but is not processing due to not being paid by LG. Checked status of rebate and final submission still not handed in so no rebate being processed yet. We are talking about $7100 to me in rebate, with normal time of 24-30 weeks waiting for cheque to arrive but for me it will now be minimum 46-52 weeks from installation if process is started today, which it is not. I have contacted LG several times by email, chat and phone and was always told they would take care of this. It has been months and nothing has changed, I am still getting past due notices. I know this is not an isolated incident as my neighbour had a heat pump installed a few weeks after me and is going through the same issue.

We are sorry you have had a frustrating experience. In order to ensure proper use of the program, it was mandated that auditors are third parties. We have no control over the processing and administration of rebates.
