Mathew was on time, very friendly, and extremely professional.

Showed me the before and after, cleaned everything and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. Gave me some good advice on filters too.

We have been putting off having our ducts cleaned because of our feelings towards the predatory companies out there and the bad stories weve heard. We knew we had to bite the bullet and get it done, so we came here to Homestars to try a more reputable company. This is how we found MP Professional.

Matthew fit us in on the holiday Monday, so that we get the job done quickly. He patiently answered all of our questions prior to the visit and called us 30 minutes before coming for the appointment.

He took his time and did a very thorough cleaning, all with some interruptions from our small kids who were curious to what he was doing. He was patient, professional and never once rushed or made us feel like the questions throughout were an issue.

He pointed out a structural flaw in our ductwork that allowing our basement air to be introduced in the venting system. Something that we were unaware of, plus he recommended how we could repair it.

Overall we are more then happy to have used MP professional and would highly recommend them to others. Matthew helped to change around our negative views on duct cleaning companies and weve joined his list of customers to have him back for future cleanings.

I called Matthew based on the reviews I read here and the fact that his business is small and local, which I like to support.

He gave us a few options for appointments and kept me updated on his arrival time on the day of the cleaning. We live in Toronto, where parking and space can be tight, but Matthew planned for that, and his vehicle was able to park in front of our place for the duration of the job.

He works quickly and thoroughly, takes before and after pictures so you can see exactly what's going on inside the ducts, and then cleans up nicely after the work. At the end of the job, he spent some time with me explaining the work, offering recommendations for how often to check my dryer vent for clogging, how to repair some rust in our old ductwork, and noting some potential future issues we may face along with ideas on how to deal with them.

Finally, he answered a few follow-up questions by text message.

Overall, the duct cleaning business has a bad reputation, but MP Professional lives up to its name and does the job right. I'll be calling Matthew next time we need duct or dryer vent cleaning work in our house.
