Davies General Contracting Inc and the team of experts were an absolute pleasure to work with.

We contacted the company in January with the hopes of renovating our main floor living/ dining room and kitchen - including stairs and floors to the upstairs bedrooms.

DGC replied to my request within hours and set up an appointment to come meet with us.

From our initial meeting to planning our project Mark shared ideas, strategies and pricing in a timely manner.

Mark provided us with many options and choices when looking at products. ie flooring / kitchen cabinets and has an eye for details on the little things. He was able to capture our vision and make it happen.

His communication skills, workmanship and professionalism is second to none.
He takes great pride in his company and team and it shows in his work. All of the trades shared their appreciation for his work ethic.

He is capable of pivoting when asking for add ons, flexible when scheduling and organizing appointments around his clients.

We were very impressed with the amount of protection that was in place - ensuring there was no damage to existing and new parts of our home.

His team was on time/schedule as predicted from start to finish.
He sent us weekly, sometimes daily updates including photos of jobs in progress as well as ones completed.

Our home was turn key ready to move back in within the time frame provided and we could not be happier with the end results.

This was our 3rd time working with Mark. First was a Master Bathroom, 2nd a full main floor renovation of an original 1963 built home and this time we did a full renovation of a 1975 built unit in a condo complex. We picked Mark to do this project and he is very approachable, responsive and he has a definite eye for detail as do his sub contractors. This project included removing walls, relocating services (bell line), full kitchen reno, popcorn ceiling remediation; master bathroom, new ceramics, new flooring, paint and lighting. Renovating a condominium has a lot of moving parts. Mark was able to work within the guidelines, policies and procedure for the condo corporation, successfully scheduled the movement of construction material and tools in and out the building on a timely basis. This project has been completed on time and on budget.

I recently completed the full renovation of my ensuite and powder room. Mark and his team were great to work with. I especially appreciated that Mark would not let a new tradesperson come to my door without being there to make that introduction. Mark was a great communicator and ensured that I knew what work was happening on every day throughout the project. If we ran into a snag or two, he would come up with a solution or explanation. His team of professionals were great to work with and did an excellent job on both bathrooms. The bathrooms are beautiful and bright and I especially enjoy my new ensuite!! I highly recommend Davies General Contracting and hope to use them for my next projects.

When me and my wife decided we wanted to renovate our laundry room and our powder room, we spent a lot of time looking at multiple contractors. Ultimately we ended up going with Davies GC because Mark was very responsive and communicative during the pre-sales process; it was clear he was highly experienced with this type of work. We had some very specific requirements for some aspects of the project and he accommodated all of them.

The actual project was done over 2 months and each day the workers were very respectful of our property and always cleaned up after themselves; they also focused on their specific tasks and did not interrupt us even if we were also at home. All of Mark's subcontractors were extremely skilled and easy to interact with (plumbers, electricians, tilers, drywallers, etc.)

The final results were phenomenal and we were extremely happy to see our 1970's-era powder room and laundry room transformed into very modern, very functional designs.

We will definitely be choosing Davies GC again in the future for our next reno project!

We are absolutely blown away by the work Mark and his team at DaviesGC has done for us. Our main floor project kicked off in Feb 2024 which consisted of a full demo, new flooring, new electrical, pot lights, popcorn ceiling removal, backsplash, a custom range hood, paint, trim, stairs, and the list goes on.

Mark provided detailed weekly updates as to the current phase of the project and what trades will be in next. We always felt informed and involved, which made the entire renovation experience smooth and stress-free. Mark and his team completed our bathroom remodel a month ago. I wanted to live with it for awhile before writing a review. We are extremely happy with the work done by this team of professionals. We worked with them along with our kitchen designer to completely renovate our kitchen and our main floor powder room, and are thrilled with the end result. Davies GC was a lifesaver during our major home renovation. We bought a new home in Burlington and had a bit of a time crunch to get it fully renovated from top to bottom and move in. We recently completed the full renovation of our large upstairs bathroom. Mark and his team at Davies General Contracting did an amazing job! The project required a complete gut job so we could start from scratch and bring the room back to life! Every part of the project went very smoothly and the project ran like clockwork. Mark and the team are very professional and skilled at their jobs making things very easy for us to live through. They took great care to protect our floors and walls and keep the mess to a minimum. Marks excellent communication ensured that we knew what work was happening on a daily basis throughout the project . Everyone on the team did excellent quality work from demo, electrical, tiling, plumbing, cabinet work, drywall and painting. The bathroom is beautiful and we are thrilled with it! We would highly recommend Mark and will use him again for future projects.

We enlisted the services of Davies General Contracting to gut and redo our master ensuite bathroom. This was our first renovation and we were nervous. However, the process with Mark and his team couldnt have gone smoother. Our bathroom turned out amazing and exactly as we envisioned, with the help of their in-house designer.

Mark was excellent at communicating. He kept us abreast of what would be happening daily and followed through on each item with care. He was readily accessible and extremely responsive when we had questions, including after the job was done. He accommodated any last minute changes we had (eg we swapped out a shower head last minute and wanted a new shower door for another bathroom). Mark stuck to the contract, budget and timeline to a tee.

The demo crew (Rob, Ashley) took great care of our house and saving items, when our old bathroom was taken down. The quality of the workmanship of the various trades personnel, including electrical ,plumbing,drywalling, and painting, including touch-ups, was excellent. We had a lot of tile, and Clay did an amazing job setting it. We appreciated the attention to detail (eg they measured my shampoo bottles to ensure the shower niche would accommodate them on their own, checked where we wanted towel bars placed etc). The team was punctual and cleaned up the work site each day. Mark and team member Tyler regularly checked in to see the progress. We appreciated having our ducts cleaned after the work was completed as well.

We are thrilled with the result! We wouldnt hesitate recommending Mark and Davies General Contracting to anyone looking to do a renovation.
