Mike was great, and Level up were a pleasure to deal with. Open communication all the way through. The Town was difficult to deal with on our own and Mike took that over and made life easy for us. Everything went through, permits and all. We would definitely use or recommend Level up again.

I hired Level Up Group Consulting for a bathroom renovation. The reasons that I chose Level Up over their competition are as follows:

- They quoted me a reasonable price with the promise that there will be no additional charges unless I decided to upgrade.
Whereas most other companies will give you a quote and then work in excuses to raise the price.

- I got a good vibe from the initial consultation. Michael was very passionate about providing quality service to his customers and it was evident by his demeanor that he loves what he does. Michael was always available to answer my questions and concerns and made it his priority to make sure that I was happy with the results. He never went back on his word and always delivered on his promises. He was a delight to work with and made the renovation process enjoyable and easy.

- Another perk of working with Level Up is the free Interior Designer. Mila designed the layout of the bathroom and help me decide on the appropriate tiles, fixtures, paint, etc. Having a professional designer's guidance was invaluable.

All in all, I found this company to be reliable, trustworthy, and cost efficient (they supply quality results at a competitive price). I highly recommend Level Up Group Consulting.

When my husband and I decided to embark upon finishing our basement, we had no idea that everything would turn out the way it did. We had a completely different vision of what we thought we wanted, a different contractor in mind and most importantly, a misguided budget.

In short, it started with the Covid-19 lockdown and we had begun to collect fitness equipment in the unfinished basement. We wanted to give the gym "toys" a home and had a completely blank canvas to work with. We envisioned an enclosed glass and mirrored gym space, a minibar and theatre area, a 3 piece bathroom, and storage spaces for our things.

However, we had this jaded idea that we could do everything we wanted for an obliviously low price. We had been advised before that all we really needed were materials and quickly felt defeated when we started shopping around on Homestars and saw the going rates.

However, then we came across Michael's company - Level Up Basement group, and were immediately intrigued by his outstanding reviews. We reached out and he was very prompt in responding to set up a meeting the next day. When Michael came over, we were very impressed by his background knowledge. His ability to immediately showcase examples of his work related to what we wanted, generate a realistic quote that didn't make us run away and most importantly, his genuine personality.

Michael made sure to get to know us first and then helped to build a basement "narrative" that fit our lifestyle. Once we signed off on the quote and contract Michael's guaranteed timeline began.

His partner Ludmila was amazing in making the basement vision come to life. When she arrived we had already made sure the basement was emptied of its contents so that she could properly draft a blueprint. She listened to our requests and suggested some necessary pivots to maximize on the basement space. We really appreciated having multiple basement option layout designs to choose from. However, the best part came when we chose all of our design esthetics such as flooring, tiles and paint colours. Ludmila walked us through everything and helped us choose items that had great flow, especially in the 3D design.

On December 1st, everything began in a whirlwind. Framing, electrical, plumbing and drywall were completed less than 4 days! We were amazed at the efficiency of Michael's team of workers. They all had skilled expertise in their specific jobs and never cut corners. By the end of the first two weeks we were already in the taping phase with a completion goal of December 30th.

Even with the holidays impacting some work days, Michael's team worked around the clock, sometimes even on Sundays to get the job done. We built some genuine relationships with them, which made the "full house" days positive as well.

Overall, this experience is one that we will never forget and are grateful we took a chance on this company. Michael is not only dedicated to his craft, he is 100% committed to his customers in ensuring they are satisfied with all work done. He was visible throughout the process and responded to questions and calls promptly, without hesitation.

We were burnt by a construction duo and asked level up to come and give a quote and fix the basement that’s almost 1400 sq ft. They instantly saw issues and made recommendations and what needs to be done and what to expect. Thier quote was fairly priced and we signed off. Unlike other horror stories, this was a breeze and an excellent experience with quality work, timely delivery and to top it clear and timely communication. Our basement looks modern, excellent, space is comfy and now is our family’s favourite hang out spot :-).

Our master bathroom urgently needed renovation (previous owners had not maintained house well). We talked to several different contractors including Level Up Group Consulting. Level Up was a bit more expensive, but they had a 2(!) year warranty and we were more impressed by the pictures of their previous work and discussions, so we went with them.

Positives:
- Work done on schedule (very minimal delays) and cost estimates were on track (ended up adding work beyond initial quote, but prices for these additions were reasonable).
- Some very tricky work was done well (e.g. lots of plumbing had to move, like submerging pipe, moving toilet over, switching shower side). Also very happy that source of mold was found and eliminated.
- Very happy with most work. Highlights are tiling work (both shower and floor), tricky plumbing work (which enabled larger vanity, etc), glass shower door and wall, and electrical work.
- Some nice additions were included that I hadn't expected: cleaning service afterwards, thorough patching and painting of minor scrapes in hallway from moving in materials, new furniture, etc.

We definitely got much better results than my parents (who also redid their bathroom recently), and the end result was well worth the 10-20% extra we paid.

Note: photos below show both before and after. The new version has freestanding tub, eliminated shower half-wall and bench, and increased vanity size (to 48") by shifting toilet ~8".

Michael's company was efficient did a very nice job. The glass and mirrors refreshed my bathrooms.

Excellent workmanship. Each team of workers were very efficient. End product was remarkable. Michael was very helpful with his suggestions.
He supplied a written contract before Reno started so there never was a problem or conflict of what was expected. Job timeline was adherred to and the end result was beyond words, but the smile on my face is worth a thousand words.

Like any reno, there were a few issues along the way, however Michael was quick to provide solutions and make the necessary corrections. Overall, we are happy with our kitchen renovation.

Michael has my total trust in managing this and any future projects. Projects went smoothly and according to schedule. Workmanship and attention to detail of all trades was excellent. Michael was responsive and always available.
