Paul Kilmartin Drywall

I called Paul at Paul KIlmartin Drywalling and he got back to me promptly with a good price. His work was great, with no issues and with the drywalling all ready to be primed and painted and when he was done. I'm very satisfied with his work and would use him for any drywalling needs I might have in the future.

My garage is 60 x 100 ft .. .the renovation took 3 weeks ...all rooms ie. Lunch room..washrooms... storage rooms ..drywall in all of them including ceilings and then the main portion of the garage and ceiling had in many areas to be replaced ...painted..and some portions drywalled....work was done quickly and efficiently....very pleased

I am so fortunate to have met Paul for my taping needs.

I hung the drywall myself, and although I have experience in doing it, there were some gaps and deficiencies in the drywall. Moreover, because the basement stairs have a tight turn, I was unable to fit a full sheet of drywall downstairs - this meant I had to score each one, creating a new seam to each piece.

I mention this because even with these issues, Paul came in as the most affordable and he did an AMAZING JOB! I am always skeptical with the lowest quote of a bunch, but after meeting Paul and having some conversations with him, it was clear that he was a true PRO. Paul and his team installed all the corner bead, covered up all the issues in the drywall, and every seam disappeared - every wall is SO SMOOTH! I am so absolutely thrilled with his craftsmanship that I already referred him to someone I know.

Moreover, what I also really appreciated was that he was on time every day (tapers come a few hours every few days to allow the mud to dry between coats) and his communication was absolutely stellar - honestly the best communication of any contractor that I hired. He called/texted every day at the same time to see how the mud was curing, and if I called or texted, I usually got a response in SECONDS!

We hired Paul to do the taping and mudding in our basement and to remove the popcorn ceilings on our main floor. The work was excellent and the cost was less than the other quotes we received. Paul was always on time, the work was done very quickly and each day Paul cleaned up prior to leaving. Overall we are very happy with the work.
