Aquatech - Very Difficult to Deal with when things don't go right
I really don't enjoy writing critical reviews of companies but Aquatech has really been frustrating to deal with. Aquatech came highly recommended from a couple of acquaintances. I do realize that I am the exception and the majority of people who have written a review has had positive experiences with them but I think a company's true value is when something goes wrong and how they rectify it.
I contracted Aquatech to install a Heat Pump at my Townhouse. All was well, the consult, the submission of application to my strata, the heat pump install (late Feb 2024), full price paid after install. But about 2 weeks later, a city inspector came and gave me a citation/notification that I did not have the electrical permit for the heat pump install. I was shocked and puzzled as getting permits from city for a heat pump install are VERY basic steps. They admitted their error and that they dropped the ball on this. They offered a tacit email response. I then requested a telephone conversation with Aquatech and they offered an explanation that it was a simple administrative matter and it will be rectified with the city with a submission of necessary paperwork. Today is Jun 20 (almost 3 months later) and my issue still has not been resolved. I have requested a telephone call with the 2 principals/owners to resolve this asap and they have been less than responsible on their part in trying to find a mutual time and date to resolve this. This has been a very frustrating process working with Aquatech to rectify this. Choose Aquatech if you want but if something goes wrong, be prepared for a long drawn out and complicated process! Cannot honestly recommend them.
