The garage had a broken cable so I called and Ed quoted me within the $140. He sent Tony over yesterday, Tony initially said oh we need to replace also the 2 brackets and so it would be $230. So ok, we agreed to change. He started the job and stopped half way and said now we need to change the spring which will cost us another $200. We did not agree to the spring as it's been working. He was not happy and we feel he did not put enough tension now which will damage the garage motor eventually. We asked and he said he did which we did not believe. We were not satisfied with the repair. We expect the work to be honest and upfront with the cost, but very disappointed. Sharing our experience to others hoping to help you stay away from them.

Hi, I'm sorry for your experience. I did reach out to you multiple times to rectify the issue but was able to tech you. Please understand that re-tensioning a vey old spring is problematic and dangerous. This would be the reason a new spring is needed and a technician can only find these things out as the job is unfolding.
