We recently hired Enviro-Loc to remove our incorrectly graded, damaged stamped concrete and replace it with interlocking.

From the very first visit, Daniel was very attentive to our concerns. The proposal he provided was extremely comprehensive and he was very knowledgeable about the options available to us. We were able to better understand the differences in stones and compare pricing. Daniel also recommended we visit his stone provider where they had a variety of stones on display for us to get a better idea in person.

Daniel always made himself available via phone calls and virtual meetings to answer our questions prior to signing the contract and throughout the entire project. Enviro-Loc’s active Instagram account also made it easy for us to view previous projects to get a better idea of how various stones would look.

Once we signed the contract, Daniel provided us with a detailed timeline of the project. There were a few challenges associated with our project, including mature landscaping adjacent to the future stonework, several sprinkler heads located alongside the existing stamped concrete and the fact that our home is on a busy street. We were concerned about damage to the existing landscaping as well as to the sprinkler system. However, the team at Enviro-Loc acknowledged our concerns and we were pleased that every single tree and bush around the demolition area was preserved. Care was also taken not to damage the sprinkler system.
The entire team that worked on our property was a pleasure to deal with. They worked extremely hard, performed quality work and kept the project on track with an on-time completion. They were knowledgeable enough to tweak the project design when needed. We even had neighbours who approached us to acknowledge their work ethic and polite disposition.

The project work and material was completed according to the agreed contract and within schedule/budget. The excavation & installation crews were professional and efficient. Daniel was always responsive throughout the process.

We were very fortunate to have contracted Enviro-Loc to undertake a major landscaping project at our house during the month of May (2021). Daniel the owner came by several times to give us an estimate and to explain the process and suggested materials for the project. We had several contractors come by so we could get an idea of the cost and the type of design and materials to consider.
In the end, we decided to go with Enviro-loc for a variety of reasons. First, they had excellent ratings from Homestars with many positive comments from previous customers. Their price was competitive and we were impressed with the detailed description of the materials and process that they would follow in doing the project. We liked the fact that the existing bricks at our house would be recycled.

The project involved installing a new front walkway and steps with Shale Grey Techno Stone and use the same stone along our side walkway from the side of the garage to the back of the house. We later decided to redo the back patio as well so that we would have a continuous flow of the same stone from the front to the back of the house.

The project took about 2 weeks. We were impressed with the different teams that came in to remove the old patio stones and ensure proper grading of the HPB limestone (High Performance Bedding) used throughout the project. Another team followed to install the new stones. Jamal and his team were professional and very meticulous. They took the time to review with us different options for installing the stone throughout the process. The sod team came in last and regraded the front and back lawn and did an excellent job. They were very focused, efficient with each member of the team having a specific task to do.

We were not the only ones impressed with the quality of work and final results. Many of our neighbours have come by and complimented the new look at the front and back of the house. Word of mouth matters as they asked for the name of Daniel’s company.

James is very courteous and efficient. He returns calls, texts, emails promptly. He was a great help in choosing my stone. The clean-up crew was fantastic. Every time there was work done they came and cleaned up everything. That was a real bonus for me. I waited 20 years for this and I love it. Still waiting for one stone to be replaced but confident they will complete that soon
