We just had a terrible experience having a tree removed by Majestic Maple. They said during estimation that they would climb to cut the tree, but when they came, they just drove right onto the lawn with a truck with a bucket to cut. And the truck leaked oil on the stone walkway.
They dropped a branch that landed on our power line, and tore the hydro attachment off the house. We had to call Toronto Hydro for an emergency power shut off and get an electrician for emergency repair service. The owner/operator did not offer any compensation, instead, when he learned the cost of the emergency repair, suggested that we wait until next morning to have our power restored in order to save him money. When he realized he had to make an insurance claim (too much for him to pay for the repair), he demanded more money as his expenses had just gone up. We were without power until one in the morning, the tree still wasnt down. They came back 4 days later. We definitely do not recommend their services

He responded to my inquiry about WSIB coverage and I felt confident of his insurance. He is very amiable and I look forward to working with him again in the spring for some pruning .

Had various things needed to be done on my property: trees removal, stumps removal, pruning, hedge work, etc. Asked three vendors for quotes. Majestic Maple came back with a very detailed quote and a competitive price. I like I was able to interact with Jesse, the owner. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I decided to go with them and couldn't be happier. They showed up 2 weeks later as agreed upon, and completed the jobs in 3 days. Jesse and Kevin worked hard and efficient throughout. The yards were left clean and tidy. Very pleased with the results. Payment terms were easily agreed upon and the transaction was very smooth. I met Jesse 2 years ago while he was doing some work for a neighbor. Hired him to remove a dying tree in a really tight awkward spot very close to the house. Very pleased with the service and had zero damage to my property . Recently re-hired this company to service a maple tree that was overhanging onto my roof and caused some damage. Once again great service! The staff is very pleasant and professional. Jesse went around the property and offered me some advice on pruning the fruit trees in my backyard.

We needed a large tree removed from our backyard -- ie cut down, chopped up, then hauled away -- as it was dying and thus becoming a safety hazard. We happened to run into Jesse down the street from our house (he was working on another project), so we took his business card and scheduled a date/time for him to review the size of our job. Upon seeing the tree which required removal, he was not only confident that he could get it done, but also provided much-needed insight with regard to other areas of our property. Although his primary focus was the dying tree, he really opened our eyes with other ideas that could help to beautify our yard (and full disclosure, increase our property value, which intrigued me). It was blatantly obvious that he really knows his stuff, as he was able to bring up ideas that we have been considering for years, in addition to calling out various problems that we've experienced with our yard -- just by taking a 5-minute glance. He also offered solutions to all of these items, without being pushy -- consistently mentioning that we will deal with the tree first, and then maybe discuss other ideas in the spring, if we are still interested.

Needless to say, we booked him for the tree removal right away -- and he had the tree down within 48 hours of the job being confirmed, which was amazing. We are extremely happy with his work so far, and are looking forward to working with him on a long-term basis to help us develop our property.

I hired Majestic Maple to complete some work on a large commercial property that I own in Toronto with approximately 25 trees and shrubs.
