Flooring Office offers competitive pricing with okay work. We had previously purchased flooring that needed to be installed in two bedrooms and a hallway. Flooring Office did the installation and supplied and installed new baseboards as well. In addition they completely redid our staircase. What a magnificent difference! They did a great job staining and making the stairs seamlessly integrate with our new floor colour. Although they are young, Kaan aims to please and is fantastic at following up with any fixes or corrections that need to be done while on the job. However, the attention to detail and their cleanliness needs to be improved. They did not sand our banisters, so they are really rough. In addition they didn't take the time to properly cut out the baseboards around the air intakes. You have to really look at everything and be on the top of it. Some contractors are you have to do this with and some you don't. Lastly, they are not tidy and they didn't really clean up on a day to day bases. We told them to be careful with our walls as they were recently painted. Scuff ups I can handle but they put a small hole in the wall. It's not big deal since I still had some paint left over and I know how to patch a small hole, but we still did ask them to be careful and they should have fixed that hole. We recently hired a master carpenter who did some custom woodwork for us. I asked him about the craftsmanship of their work. He thought the floor install was good, but the baseboards (only the area cutting around the air intake) were poorly done (he was going to fix that for us) and the stairs were okay, but not the banisters. As I mentioned there weren't sanded. He had to tighten a few things that were coming loose too. I would hire Flooring Office to work on an income property or flooring install only with a small footprint.
