Suzanne is true to the name of her company, a breath of fresh air. She is very thorough and a hard worker! And she is honest!!
I had an issue with my coil pan and other companies and HVAC techs would only talk about replacing my entire central unit or replacing the coil.
Suzanne showed up and thoroughly examined the issue and stated that there was no need to replace the unit so that was never entertained,
She took out the pan that was rusted and had several large holes that were causing leaks when the AC was on. She cleaned it and repaired the holes and also cleaned out the system. My unit has been running beautifully since and I'm going to book her to clean the furnace for the winter season.

In the world of trades you do not know who is being honest or not and Breath of Fresh Air goes above and beyond to be honest and explain to you what the problem is, what your options are, how long it will take and cost. I have called upon their services at least 6 different times. Each time Suzzane tells me and shows me the problem and then explains what needs to be done. I have had a number of trades people come and go and never feel they did what was in my best interest. Breath of Fresh Air does what is in my best interest and the quality of work is great. They have done duct work, hot water tank work, some copper pipe work, gas line work and everything was fixed right. I tell everyone to call this company.

2 vents were supposed to be rerouted. On the first one they cut the wrong spot on the floor and left the plywood open for me to deal with. On the second one the register was installed twisted and a 4 inch register would not fit in properly with air escaping to subfloor. She quoted me $1400 to do these two plus rerouting a vacuum hvac by 2 feet. At the end of the day she quicky wrapped up saying "I have already spent too much time here" and left the vacuum hvac to be done by myself.

I called her back when my flooring guy said the register needs to be fixed before the hardwood is installed. I sent her the picture below and after a frustrating back and forth I gave up. Her comment was "Not sure why you are asking me if it is normal."

Good news is that all the trades coming into the house are getting a good laugh. If you want your vents done like this and get people to laugh at the work get her services.

Suzanne is a gem - after working with a couple of different suppliers who were not able to fix my air handler, the company who made the air handler recommended Suzanne. She is clearly an expert in her field and even took the time to give me a 101 to help troubleshoot if any future issues. Her attention to detail and expertise helped fix my air handler issue where two other suppliers were not able to do.

The high velocity HVAC system in my daughter's condo was leaking condensate, and I decided that the best solution would be to reconfigure the air handler to have a refrigerant base module. This required dismantling of the existing system, supplying the cooling module, and re-installing the air handler on top. Suzanne responded to my request for quote promptly. She answered all my detailed questions. I am a professional engineer and am very fussy about installation techniques and quality of workmanship. Suzanne completed the work to my full satisfaction. Even went as far as too make sure that the air ducts were realigned vertically.

The promptness and professionalism was second to none.
Suzanne saved me at least $4K by diagnosing the issue. Reliant was going to hose me.

I had no heat as the blower fan stopped working. Suzanne got back to me in minutes and was on her way the next morning, even after the huge snowstorm! She was professional and delightful to work with. I am extremely happy with the work and result. I would recommend her over and over again!

I have worked with Suzanne for over 4 years, during this time she has helped me fix my Combiboiler, Air conditioner and Balanced the air in my newer townhome. She is an excellent technician with superior knowledge of engineering. She will always approach issues by understanding the root cause of the problem and attempts to repair first by replacing parts or finding intelligent solutions.
My 4 year old combiboiler ( rented from Reliance) had a small leak, I obtained "assessments" from 5 local HVAC companies, their approach was to sell me a new unit, estimates ranged from $9,000 to $12,000 for a new unit, or a lease agreement (from reliance or enercare) that was three times the original contract. None of the companies made a proper assessment.
Instead, Suzanne was able to quickly identify problem, she replaced 4 rubber gaskgets and the boiler works perfectly fine with no leaks! I saved myself a huge expense, while saving the environment.
Above all Suzanne brings ethics to an industry that is in dire need of it. A true "Breath of Fresh Air" :)
