During the summer of 2019, we hired MP Construction Group to handle the construction work for our complete kitchen and downstairs bathroom/laundry room renovations. The owner/operator arrived on day one of the project briefed and ready to go. In less than two days, the demolition was complete including floors, ceiling, counters, cabinets, appliances and walls. By day two, the electrician and plumber he had subcontracted were on site and finished all of their installs by the end of day three. Within the next 4 days, walls with insulation were up, new ceilings in place and the kitchen was ready for the new lower cabinets to be installed in order that laser measurements for the new countertop could be completed. The owner/operator and his crew were onsite everyday on time and ready to take on the next steps. They took care to ensure the construction zone was sealed off from the rest of the house and the area each night was cleaned, allowing the family to continue to live in the house with minimal dust and distraction. Despite a delay in the delivery of the cabinet top (another company not subcontracted by MP Construction Group), the owner/operator and his team continued as promised to install floors & lighting, paint, as well as help us set up our new appliances. What we especially appreciated was the owner/operator’s willingness and patience to listen to our suggestions and changes requested throughout the process. While a number of changes justifiably resulted in additional costs, they were very reasonable and fair. When we had concerns during and after the build, a quick email to the owner/operator resulted in an immediate response and action. We felt that during this project we were their first priority. The result was a spectacular kitchen and downstairs bathroom/laundry room that is beautiful, functional and the talk of the neighbourhood! The owner/operator was exceptionally responsive, responsible, knowledgeable, good natured, patient, and professional. He deals with high quality subcontractors, his crew are top notch and his attention to detail is outstanding. We highly recommend MP Construction Group and the owner/operator for any of your future construction projects!

MP Construction Corp did a spectacular job on our recent complete kitchen renovation. If we could give them a 20/10 review we would. We had approached two other leading Ottawa kitchen renovation companies but we chose MP construction Corp based on their knowledge, communication, extra personal attention and reasonable cost and we are so glad we did. The scope of the project was large as it involved completely gutting our 60's era kitchen, bringing everything up to code and redesigning and upgrading everything including the kitchen sink. We were hoping to have the renovation completed while we were on holiday for 18 days. Mathieu, the principal owner, said he could work the timeline to fit. We ended having to come home three days early. Mathieu and his team, worked long hours and right through the holiday weekend to make the incredibly short timeline work. It was so appreciated, particularly after hearing many horror stories involving kitchen renovations taking months. When we got home, we were blown away by the transformation and our new model kitchen including new potlights, beautiful cabinetry with underlighting, beautiful backsplash and granite countertop and striking modern beautifully laid porcelain flooring. MP works with top notch suppliers who all work together. The price was really reasonable. You can tell Mathieu is passionate about his work from his meticulousness and attention to detail. Communication was always top notch. When a few surprises arose, such as things not originally to code and a rotting subfloor under the old dishwasher requiring extra work, Mathieu was never phased, was always a pleasure to work with, and made everything stress free. Anyway, cannot recommend this company highly enough. Top quality.
