We had a roof leak that damaged the second floor ceiling over the stairwell and in a bedroom. Our house was built in the seventies and all the walls and ceilings are drywall covered in a layer of plaster. This has proved to be a challenge to repair in the past. Gavin and Barry removed and replaced the damaged section of ceiling as well as the insulation and vapour barrier while protecting the existing crown molding and ceiling rose. They followed that work with mesh and a plaster skim coat. Finally they painted.

The results are beautiful! Our 50 year old ceilings look perfect. And they did all this within the estimate provided by our insurance company.

Gavin and Barry arrived exactly on time and finished on schedule. They took extraordinary care to protect our floors and control dust. Gavin documented the work with pictures and reported on what was accomplished each day. They gave us every opportunity to inspect their work for flaws. There were none.
