This contractor has completed several furniture and home repair contracts at our house over many years: Japanese garden shed/earth quake shelter unit, back porch to house, window repairs, repairs to basement after a sewage backup, kitchen table … I have always found the contractor to be an honest, highly talented and very capable contractor, who does really interesting and often beautiful work. But people hiring the contractor should understand that while the work is always reasonably priced and of high quality, it is typically at a more thoughtful, "listen to the client and adapt the project as needed" pace. Pressure and rush-rush jobs will only yield stress and not happy parties. I'll always turn to this contractor, but I appreciate the quality and the time it takes to do it.

Yuki was a fantastic collaborator on this unique project, which required understanding not only of the layout, structure, and aesthetic of a traditional Japanese space, but also an appreciation for how the space was to be used. She was very accommodating of all my requests and was easy to work with. She also was very creative in adding design elements that really added to the authenticity of the look on a very limited budget. The project took longer than anticipated, but the end result was definitely worth it and it is a space that I enjoy using every day.

Yuki was very personable and easy to talk to. He worked very hard and long hours for me. Result turned out fantastic and we get positive comments about the work all the time.
