Devon was able to take an extremely negative experience with another contractor and allow us to move forward with the township in a very positive way. Devon's project involved deconstructing a brand new 80% built 22 ft (L) x 15 ft (W) x 13 ft (H) detached pool house/shop and moving it without the use of large machinery because of where it was on the lot and fit it into a confined space and then rebuild it.
The PREVIOUS contractor built the new structure too close to the property line which cause the township shut down the project. Then the PREVIOUS contractor shut down their business. Devon was able to work with the township, satisfying their requirements, move/rebuild the structure, re-using a large amount of material, run a new gas line, redo the electrical and work with the pool company to have all the plumbing correctly done.
Devon did an exceptional job of keeping us informed and sticking to his project timeline. The end result was a very functional, well built structure with all the correct permits completed.
His sub trades were informative, professional and great to talk to. We have more renos coming and it would be a pleasure to work with Devon and Great Western Builders again.
