On Saturday we discovered that our furnace room had flooding (which spilled over to the basement) and we did not know why. We suspected the AC, so we turned it off. On Sunday, after trying to call another company that supposedly was open 24/7, and getting sent to an inactive voicemail, we decided to call ProLand. Ali got information about our situation, gave us a time window in which he would be there, and let us know that it was likely to cost $150.00. He arrived within that window, and diagnosed the issue (if we had had our AC serviced in the spring, it likely would not have happened), fixed it, and then doubled checked that everything else with the AC was working as it should, and also reconnected our humidifier to be more efficient - explaining what he was doing along the way, and why. He also recommended that we use less expensive furnace filters, not just based on price, but because it will help our furnace work more efficiently and circulate air better - and as long as we replace every 2 months (now in the calendar) - it will also help my allergies. ProLand now has a sticker in my furnace room and a calendar reminder to contact them in the Fall for routine furnace maintenance - just like a car, better proactive, than reactive.
