Underground electrical wires to service equipment
Terrible service. I hired Aleks CBK Electric to put in underground electrical wires to service equipment for my newly built swimming pool. He failed to inspect the equipment to ensure that the cables he put down will actually work. After double checking with him that everything was done correctly, my general contractor buried the cables and put down interlocking. Shortly after that, Aleks told me that the wires he put down will not work for my equipment configuration. He then tried the o blamed me for not telling him about this configuration, as if I am the electrician expert who is supposed to know what wires work with what equipment... I have since obtained multiple quotes from other electricians in order to fix his mistakes, all of whom are surprised at this level of incompetence.
I have filed a complaint with the Electrical Safety Authority and considering legal action. I am now forced to run unsightly above ground cable to service the equipment because my contractor isnt willing to disturb the finishing works that he has done to dig up the cable.

We understand your frustration, and we're sorry that you feel that way, however your claims aren’t substantiated, and we would like to address them.
Originally you have requested only three things: pool heater, pool pump and pool bonding to be installed, and ESA permit and certificate of inspection shows that as well. Based on that, we supplied initial quote for installation of above-mentioned equipment.
After receiving initial quote, the client had request to add some additional items- outdoor receptacles. We have offered new quote that had some changes and new solution, installation of outdoor panel as point of all installation. However, the client rejected the new proposal as cost has gone up due to additional work and instructed us to procced with original quote and scope of work. Even at this time the client had no knowledge of the equipment that was supposed to be installed.
After successfully finishing the work, and passing on site ESA inspection, the client contacted us asking when the panel was going to be installed (this panel was a part of the second quote that client rejected)
The client’s frustration and dissatisfaction resulted in harassment (throughout correspondence) and an attempt to obtain significant amount of money from CBK Electric. Since this attempt failed the client resorted to filing an official claim to ESA, that eventually resulted in claim being dismissed by the ESA.
