MPC Contracting

James, with slight Irish accent, (and many untrained Irish nephews) goes door to door to sell. We will have to pay another $15-20,000 to get lousy work re-done. Workers are unskilled and unsupervised, don't speak English and have no idea how to build a retaining wall, a driveway or porch. The re-paved portion of our drive fell in after one rail storm. No gravel behind retaining walls. Our drive was slanted to drain right into our garage. Drain not hooked up to any pipes so water pools in trough. "Square" porch is 4 inches shorter on one side than the other and no retaining wall under one corner, and soil under the corner is already washing away with no support. Will not return calls after being paid off. Address on card is phony. No last name and cell only, so can't track them. Left pallets and broken machine for us to get rid of. Cash or certified cheque only, demanded during the project, though sales spiel promises you only have to pay at the end when satisfied. Did not perform many promised tasks. Every part of the job was redone at least twice and still isn't right. Stay away from this company!
