Hyre Young removed the popcorn from the ceiling and renovated the main bathroom in my condo. I contracted them based on the low price they offered. First warning sign was the delay in starting the work; they were not able to provide insurance, and my building could not sign off on the renovations until they could do so. After a couple of weeks they finally got the required insurance. Fair. Then the work started. They said it would take a couple of weeks and was a small job and it ended up being close to a month. They did a good job with flattening the ceiling. No issues with that. The bathroom slowly started to take shape, but after a couple of weeks Damion said that he had run out of money and that to complete the job required an additional $1000. What I disliked about working with Hyre Young is that Damion is by far the least communicative person I have ever met when it comes to providing updates. He was constantly late and there were times when his workers called my wife because they thought she might know where he was. They renovated our unit almost a year ago, and I didn't want to write a negative review, but now the substandard work is showing through. There is moisture under the tiles in the shower which most likely will need full replacement. The grout mixture they used was all around off as it's crumbling or cracked in multiple places. The photos are only 10 months after the work was done. Unacceptable. I have tried contacting Damion multiple times to come back and fix it and he's never answered my texts, and now his phone number doesn't work.

This hyre young renovation Mr Damian they work my home , 3 complete washroom and kitchen and hallway tile in August. in 6 month my main washroom leak and I try to call this guy hi answer first time after I told my problem leak in washroom .hi never answered phone and ignoring my phone .I pay all full money at when they finish work .so my point is make sure any job you guy give him please make paperwork with warranty then you can chest him with legal documents .

This company did an amazing job removing the old tiles and installing new tiles on the main floor of our home from the foyer to kitchen. The job was completed with in the estimated time. They are professional and their work is of very high quality. Price is also very reasonable. I am very proud of the job they did for me, and I highly reccommend this company.

Very satisfied with this company's service, attitude and promptness to do the required job. Everything agreed to be done, was done in a very professional manner. It took a little longer and cost more than quoted because of an unexpected condition of the bathroom floor. Once he informed us of the problem, Damion took the matter into his hands and solved it effectively. Damion was hired to demo and rebuilt the main bathroom in the house (services only) Damion took pride in his work and we are happy with the quality of his work. The project took a little longer than planned and the final cost was a bit higher than the initial estimates.

After receiving 4 quotes from basement finishing contractors, I choose Hyre Young Renovations Inc. Although all the basement finishing contractors provided me some details however, Damion from Hyre Young Renovations Inc confidently provided me an itemized breakdown of the cost as well as the layout which helped me decide whom to choose based on my budget. Hyre Young Renovations has very limited reviews at Homestars but I took the risk of choosing Hyre Young Renovations Inc. Damion was very confident talking about him and his team’s capabilities on finishing my basement on time and with the best quality of workmanship. Damion and his team were diligent, hard working and respectful.
Upon seeing the quality of workmanship on kitchen, bathroom, flooring in my basement, taking the risk is worth taking and I highly recommend Hyre Young Renovations Inc on basement finishing and am sure they can absolutely do other inside the house work like bathroom, kitchen etc renovations.
