Laszlo is a magician. He did an incredible job Installing my floors for a reasonable price. If I could give him 11 Stars for his work, I would. If youre reading this review looking for an installer, look no further. Laszlo is knowledgeable, attentive, and shows immense pride in his work. You will not regret using him.

Our floors and stairs were renovated by Laszlo aka the Floor-ist.
He removed our old floor and installed the new engineered hardwood with a lot of attention to detail, care and passion. He completely renovated our old staircase as well, matching the new floor color to the new stair treads. The match was perfect. He did everything on he's own. During the reno process he was very communicative, clean and organized. The whole process was smooth and stress free. We are extremely happy with the new modern look of our house.

Laszlo was a pleasure to work with from the day he came over to quote until the job was completed. He patiently explained all the options and cheerfully accommodated changes in plan when necessary. Hes honest, shows up on time, works diligently and cleans up as he goes along. Laszlo knows what hes doing, has great attention to detail and takes pride in his work. He is one of the best contractors Ive had in over 30 years of renovations in my home.

I hired Floor-is for the second time to complete this job. Basement floor and stairs. Carpet tear out and install laminate with DMX 1-step under it. We are looking at 450 s.f. plus new baseboards and about 12 stairs and 2 landings. He came in and completed it in 4 days. The floors was straight-forward with the stairs more trouble to be sure. He put in my upstairs floor and he suggested making the stairs match the upstairs since I has a box of wood left over from that project. New stair caps, backs and hand rails. Simply put the project was completed and exceeded expectations. He is as neat as you can be in a project requiring cutting and got it done issue free. If you need "a guy" who does floors, this fella won't disappoint. His attention to detail is always appreciated.

Laszlo is very precise and detailed, he did a great job installing stairs in our basement. Stair treads perfectly aligned, tightly fit and wonderful work with the baseboard ends.

First off I contacted Laszlo last year but fell ill and was unable to continue with Reno. I contacted him again recently and he was able to complete both jobs in 1 day. He was very polite, respectful, and arrived promptly. We are very pleased with his work, his attention to detail and preparation was impeccable for both rooms. His pricing is also extremely reasonable. We cannot thank you enough for completing a couple of projects that have been overdue for many years. Laszlo was a very personable, responsive and prompt professional in consulting us on hardwood flooring options for the upstairs level of our home, then in planning and completing the project. He was very patient in answering all questions, and thorough in advising us on details of planning steps we needed to take care of. We were away for our reno and he was very trustworthy in being in our home and took the initiative to send pictures of progress and keep us updated on how things we going. In follow up to project completion he was very prompt to ensure we were happy, shared details of aspects of how the project went and responsive to all of our questions about care and maintenance. We would recommend him to anyone for service and will definitely contact him for future flooring projects!

I came across Laszlo by a stroke of luck. My hired contractor cancelled last minute and Laszlo responded to my new inquiry within hours. The job was to remove existing hardwood on lower level, remove carpet from stairs and upper level and then install new hardwood on both levels plus redo the stairs. The biggest challenge we had to keep the house going while all this work was going on. Laszlo worked closely with us to schedule the demo and install in a a manner that allowed us to keep the house functioning.
As for his quality of work, it is impeccable. Laszlo is a perfectionist and gives appropriate attention to detail. As with any reno projects, you run into unexpected challenges. Laszlo did too but each time he was able to come up with a creative solution without compromising quality. He kept the house clean throughout the project, and the finished product was nothing but outstanding.
Laszlo is not only an expert at his work, he is a wonderful person as well. Very polite, very friendly and respectful and has no hesitation in going the extra mile to make his customer happy and satisfied. He was able to save me a good chunk of $$s by finding better prices than I had for several items.
I would recommend Laszlo without hesitation to anyone who wants a quality job done.
