Our home makeover

So we had a pretty enormous project coming up for a few months and this led to us vetting numerous companies, and among them was home renovation vancouver. This is was no small job and it included tearing down multiple walls, rebuilding a kitchen from scratch, and doing adding new flooring on the first (main) floor of the house. This is a house that we just recently purchased and we wanted it to be done right.

We settled on these guys because we liked their prior work and they agreed to direct their attention to this project alone and use the materials we would buy for them. At first it seemed like they didn't want to do it but after a little bit of communication we came to an arrangement that suited both of us. After a few grueling weeks, the house looks like something you'd see in a magazine and my family and I are more than satisfied with what they were able to do. It is nearly identical to what we envisioned.

There were a few bumps along the way and a little bit of re-scheduling that had to be done, but all in all it was worth it. Definitely recommend.

kitchen repair and renovation

Around the end of November our home had a flooding accident that pretty much completely ruined an already wrecked kitchen in an old house. We had already hired a company for the cleanup and restoration but afterwards decided on renovating it entirely, so we looked online and found this company. Luckily for us they had availability in early December and they promised to finish ahead of the holidays.

Well, they were true to their word and were done with our kitchen on December 18, but it was not rushed. The kitchen isn't anything extravagant because our budget wouldn't permit it (especially with the flooding expense) but in the end it's still far better than what we had before and we're happy with it. And most of all, we were happy to be able to enjoy our holidays without any worry of contractors leaving a half-finished job.

october project

Keith and the guys completed a project for us around the end of October this year. They created a beautiful barrierless shower in a complete bathroom redo, and did some drywall and painting work in the bed room. We found it easy to work with them from start to finish, including planning and mapping out our desired designs, to actually coordinating the renovation itself.

Really felt like they went above and beyond for us, an the tile teams are true professionals. We highly recommend working with home renovation Vancouver on jobs you want done (well) without much of a headache.

Complete Kitchen Makeover

One of my old homes out in Vancouver BADLY needed to have a facelift since I was looking to move on from it. Didn't quite have the budget to include a bathroom reno or tear down some old walls in the downstairs portion of the house, but the kitchen was very important so I had it done regardless of the price. I was recommended Home Renovation Vancouver by an old friend so I decided to give them a call a few weeks ago. Had Jeffrey come over and take a look at what needed to be done and he agreed with my vision for the house, for the most part.

We booked for 2 weeks later and the guys came. Luckily nobody is living there momentarily so they could afford to make a whole bunch of noise and quite a mess (which they later cleaned up). The kitchen is dazzling now and it's so well lit because they were able to tear down one wall that was blocking off a lot of natural light. The cabinets are smooth and beautiful and the new island fits in very well. Communication was also excellent. Thank you guys!

kitchen & bath

we had them completely tear apart and redo the kitchen & bath in my parents old home, in kits. The house was built in the 50's and still had the same appliances, cabinets, bathtub, etc. so it was a much needed facelift.

Mark and the guys were really pleasant from top to bottom. I didn't know exactly what I wanted yet so they walked me through it and presented me with some options. I ended up sticking with a few designs and they completed the project to my liking, just how i had seen it in the picture. Getting a hold of them was a little tough and I think they were pretty busy but somehow squeezed me in.

Bathroom Remodelled

I began a home renovation in the beginning of the summer but the company we started out with could not complete the job, for many different reasons. The last piece of the puzzle was our bathroom which was in unspeakable conditions.

Our backsplash was completely torn apart and we had beautiful tiles freshly installed (as well as on the floor). The entire bathroom was re-structured in a way that suited our needs better as we decided to build a very spacious shower and do away with the old bathtub. We also had the bathroom re-painted.

Home renovation Vancouver was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to have them do more work for us. They were courteous, and understanding of our needs. Really glad we were able to book them in such a short period of time.

basement re-done

We've been needing to have our basement refinished for a few months now but haven't gotten around to doing it. Finally, a few weeks ago I forced myself to sit down and read some reviews of prospective companies to find one that would work for us.

It was relatively dry for Home Renovation Vancouver, but after calling, I realized they were offering to do the same service for a significantly lesser price, so we decided to have them come over and take a look to see what they thought. We listened carefully and analyzed their previous work and decided to take a chance on them.

Around ~ 20 days after our set appointment, I personally couldn't be happier with their work. We asked for a few custom modifications which they gladly agreed to have done in the way that we asked, and boy did they deliver. Truly stunning.

Bathroom reno

My bathroom has been falling apart for the past few couple of years and because I'm a bit of a procrastinator, I would hire contractors every once in a while to (temporarily) clean it up, but it would inevitably fall apart again. Whoever set up the tiles and grout in my house didn't set the foundation straight, and it was a big part of the problem.

I ended up calling this company to come and have a look. Two members of their team came and had a look, and we had a discussion about what I wanted to get done. They were straightforward and pretty much assured me they could do it how I wanted it, so I hired them. It ended up being a great decision because the job turned out almost exactly how I wanted.

They completely redid my shower backsplash area, and surrounded with beautiful tiles. Flooring was redone from scratch, that was pretty expensive and took up the bulk of the cost. Lastly I got a brand new sink as well which I absolutely adore. Essentially I got my dream kitchen, and I cannot recommend these guys enough.
