Furnace installation and warranty repair
I purchased a furnace and air conditioning system from this company and the service and repair work has been below standards
First problem was on the installation when it didn’t pass inspection because the furnace was installed backwards. Instead of replacing the furnace or at least the furnace housing it just turned around and now my new $10,000 unit has a big patch on the side of it.
Latest issue is the unit won’t start up and the issue is faulty pressure switches
This time they changed my wife for I diagnostic fee
For a warranty problem
To perform a diagnostic on this furnace all you do is look in a little window at a light and count how many blinks it does for that this company changes $130
Remember this unit is only 2 years old and is under warranty
They are all ready getting paid for parts and labour from the equipment manufacture
In short the two service man the were sent out to repair this unit had no idea what they were doing and were only with the company for a couple of weeks
They spent more time on the phone than repairing the problem
By the time they went back the the office to pickup the parts it was getting late in the day and the replacement parts that were installed turned out to be defective as well
As it stands the furnace is operating but not as efficiently as it was designed and I’m still waiting for them to correct the problem
I phoned the order and complained about the service charge on a unit that is under warranty and they were unwilling to credit the service call
At that time I let them know I currently have 8 more years or yearly inspections that I will have someone else do simply because they are charging a customer for service that they are already being paid for by the manufacture
I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE
