Andrew showed up on time, was efficient and saved us money making recommendations which I had not thought of. He made a number of repairs and improvements in just under 3 hours. We are very happy!

Andrew installed an exterior NEMA 14-50 receptacle on my house so I can charge my electric vehicle. He found the perfect lockable weather box and installed the cable through the house without issue. He also installed a 240v 40A breaker and found and replaced an old aluminum wire within the panel. He was very personable and I felt confident I could trust his work. The install went well and I’m very happy. I definitely recommend Dean Electric.

I had a small project that consisted of installing LED potlights in my living/dining room. After contacting a few electricians without success I decided to send a “request a quote” through Homestar and Andrew was one of the three people that contacted me back. Andrew was the only person who made himself available to come to my place, discuss the project and give me some ideas and a straight forward quote – he brought some of the lights he works with and tested them for me. Andrew was great do deal with, he listened to my ideas, gave his input and together we figured out what would be feasible for my home and within my budget. Andrew took care of the necessary permit as well. On the date of the job, Andrew showed up with his tools and he was careful with my furniture and covered whatever I wasn’t able to remove from the room. Andrew worked hard and long hours to finalize the installation as promised and he stick to the budget. His work required some follow up and he was very responsive and in charge. I am very happy with the results and I would definitely hire him again for a future project (maybe installation of sound system in my house when I’m able to afford it!)

The hydro lines in our house was being pulled towards the ground ,( being in Queensborough ) the ground sinks , and the earth around moves all the time , and will break anytime due to the stress factor. The city came and inspected the lines and told me i needed an emergency repair , fast., before the whole block backs out if the line breaks. A friend of mine recommended me to Dean Electric. Andrew, the owner, arrived the next day to assess the damage .He was honest, straight forward , and told me what needed to be done,and how it will be done, and fast. he applied the necessary permit to the city , bought the supplies , and work was done in under a day. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend him to anyone. Not to mention his charges are really reasonable considering he is a master electrician . Thanks Andrew!

Our electrician was thorough and prepared when he came to the job. He also interacted well with the other trades that came on site, which really made the job go smoothly and efficiently.

What started as a basement renovation turned into a complete rewire and service upgrade of the house. The old wiring was absolutely terrible but Andrew has managed to fix everything for us
