I needed to replace the roof on a house I had just purchased as a rental home for a friend. Jay at Oak Hills Roofing contacted me the day after I put out a request on Home Stars. He arranged to see the house immediately and provided a very reasonable quote the next day. Jay's communication with me was nothing short of amazing. I have had to work with a few contractors and I have to say that Jay's quick responses really impressed me and his kind attentiveness to my friend's (tenant) needs was very appreciated. I also had a minor issue as there was a small hole in the siding of the house and birds were starting to become an issue. Jay arranged to immediately take care of the hole so that it wouldn't become a larger problem, even though he wasn't scheduled to do the roof until a few weeks later. Living in Toronto and trying to get this job done in Peterborough could have been a bit of a nightmare, but Jay made it so easy for me. He did the job on time, on budget and as promised.
