Nordik Windows And Doors

I ordered on August 3rd 2020. They want 30% up front . We agreed on almond colour on both sides for installation on Nov. 3rd. Windows showed up and one side was white and other side was almond. Sent back to factory to correct and came back to install on December 3rd. The guys who installed them were very good but some windows were missing parts to complete the inside. What ? Now I don’t know when the finished product will happen . Very frustrated.

We just got our windows and doors done by Norfolk (Alexy's crew). I was soo impressed by the attention to detail. I don't think they left a single detail.

The guys were there for about 3 days. We changed 35 windows and 2 sliding doors. The guys were professional and hard working.

The windows look great. I would highly recommend nordik.

Well getting a new door is a bit scary. Seeing a whole in your house. Nordik's crew went straight to work. 5 hours later my home inside and out was beautiful. This Canadian company has there act together. Workmanship, service, and price. I asked the installers a few questions and I wasn't made to feel like I am a pain. Nope they were so caring and informative. Thankyou so much Nordic and crew. I just love my new entrance way.

Unacceptable customer service, poor installation quality, window build quality lower than expected, and unreliable quoted lead times.

Our sales rep was quick to respond to our initial request in July for a consultation, very cheerful and friendly, and set our order up quick and easy. As soon as he left, things went south immediately. Little to no email response as we fine-tuned the details of the order, quote was weeks late getting to us, and the lead time estimates were ridiculously off. Our re-measure tech arrived (weeks later than expected) and told us we were good to go after taking his measurements. 2 months later (roughly when we expected the window installation) we find out nothing has actually been ordered and in fact the patio door isn't possible to install for technical reasons. Nordik then recommended a foundation guy to address the technical issue; his quote came in more than doubling our $10k window/door order, and we cancelled the patio door. We've since discovered the technical issue they cited wasn't actually true and in September requested either a sales rep or a more experienced re-measure tech come back to look over the situation - after our sales rep failed to answer our calls and emails for several weeks, I called head office and was told we'd get a visit asap. As of November 27 we still haven't heard back from our rep or head office, so we're now looking elsewhere for patio doors.

Meanwhile, the 2 windows were a simple installation that took roughly a day (several months later than promised). Installers were friendly and easy-going. One window was a straight swap with the old window, the other involved a 12" horizontal cut in a framed wall with a small amount of framing. The framing was completely unacceptable (ie. no header or sill was installed and machine screws were used throughout), and one of the windows wasn't installed level or plumb. The window jamb framing has large gaps at the seams and the exposed pieces overlap each other rather than fit with 45deg mitres as I'd expect. One window was installed in the shower, and is completely unsuitable for a wet location - I have had to tile and caulk in creative ways to (hopefully) waterproof it. Overall they look and feel quite cheap, and I'm really not a picky person.

It's Nov 27. We still have no idea what the status is of the front door we paid for in July.

The extreme delay has paused or cancelled other dependent projects, and the lack of customer service has made it all the more frustrating to handle. We will not return to Nordik, nor recommend them to anyone.

We had a nice looking front door but we couldn’t get it to stay shut. It would keep opening and lock wouldn’t work. We replaced it with a beautiful white metal door and had the outside caps redone. It now looks beautiful and we have had many compliments. Even the pizza guy noticed we got a new door. That’s comical. One for noticing and then commenting.

We were so happy with our sales rep.. he was here for us from beginning with a great price...awesome customer service...of course covid caused some delays along the way....but the company worked with us to get the job completed before Christmas...the installation crew is top notch, everything was left spotless inside and out...professional courteous...I would not hesitate to recommend Nordic...keep up the great work...

The crew did a great job installing the windows and doors. They worked very hard and were on time. We appreciated how well they cleaned up as the mess was substantial. They accommodated our requests as well as made recommendations when necessary. The only issue we had was regarding wearing a mask in the house. Aside from this, we are very happy with the work Alexi's crew did.

My windows were drafty and not working well, so i started looking online. After reviewing the Canadian governments website for Windows, I came up with a list and started researching the top listed companies. After about a week I had a better idea about what i should be looking for in new windows. So i made a call to Nordik and arranged a meeting to discuss their products more in detail. I was impressed i could get an appointment only 2 days from when i called. My representative Joseph Messina arrived on time and we began to discuss my options. Joseph was very knowledgeable and when i managed to ask as question he did not have an answer for he picked up his phone and got me one. That was amazing, he did not make something up or make me wait till he got back to the office or something as other sales people have done. He was easy to talk to and addressed any concerns i had on the spot. We worked through several combinations of windows to compare pricing and finally came up with the solution i needed. My thanks again to Joseph for an overall great experience.

We just completed the overdue replacement of the majority of our windows at our house. After lengthy research on various window manufacturers/suppliers and after receiving several quotes we decided to use Nordik Windows and Doors. Nordk's sales representative, Giuliano Marini, is very knowledgeable about the product and the installation and he provided great advice during the selection of our windows. Installers Goran and Obie were efficient and professional during the installation. We are very happy with our new windows and we strongly recommend Nordik to anyone looking to replace or upgrade their windows.

I had all my windows replaced by Nordik. I chose commercial brown color with single grids. The installation went really well and the guys did a great job. The windows look amazing. I would recommend Nordik to other consumers.
