Dishwasher repair was required for busy family. Within 10 mins of the inquiry , Fuad responded an appointment was set. Upon assessment he knew the issue and replacement part. Full discussion on parts , labour and installation was disclosed in advance. Paramount to the great service provided, i completed enjoyed our time with this great appliance technician. Hired Fuad after my dishwasher stopped working. I called the manufacturer for service, but their repair person wasn't available until the following week and they couldn't guarantee their person would have the part on them. So I spoke with Appliance Aid instead, they immediately diagnosed the issue by phone and ordered the part in advance in case it had to be replaced. They also were able to come out sooner, and were cheaper, than the manufacturer. Fuad was great to deal with, came at the scheduled time, and fixed the issue as soon as the part came in.

After my regular guy told me he wouldn't work on LG fridges because they are too much trouble and another company recommended by LG said it would take a week to get someone, I looked on Homestars and found Fuad. So on a Sunday afternoon desperate that my fridge filled with food was going down fast, he answered the phone and came the next morning. And when he came he quickly sussed out the problem and gave the me the best scenario to fix it. I gave him the go ahead and he proceeded. Now I have a working fridge again! I will say it wasn't cheap, but it was professional and timely and I won't hesitate to call him again. Good work sir!

Fuad was quick and responsive and follows up when he says that he will. He repaired my fridge the same day. I believed I paid a premium but he got it done quickly so that is good.

The guy who came was very kind and respectful, came with a mask, which was great. He found the problem and fixed it. He made me laugh, which I really needed that day. He said it was also 90 days warrantied, which gave me some peace, as it's an old dishwasher.

My Samsung oven was heating up very slowly and not achieving the set temperature. I contacted Fuad based on his Homestar reviews and he provided excellent service. Our washer is only 4 1/2 years old. It would periodically lock the door with the clothes inside and not start a wash. We researched on YouTube how to fix it and tried numerous things over the past few months which mostly worked eg., turn the breaker to the washer off, wait 40 minutes for it to reset and unlock the door and then and try again. It was happening more often and so I called a local appliance repair person. I was told that it could be one of two things both of which were expensive and it wasn't clear which it was. It was recommended that I consider buying a new washer! After 4 1/2 years! We decided to keep trying the YouTube solution because buying a new washer during Covid was not going to be pleasant. Then my daughter's work clothes got locked in the washer and none of the YouTube solutions worked. I tried Appliance Aid through Homestars. Best decision I ever made!
Fuad was in touch right away and sent Vitalik to look at the washer. He quickly diagnosed that it needed a new pressure switch. The part was ordered and installed the next day.
Throughout the process communication with Fuad was constant and clear. He is very responsive. When he committed to a appointment, it happened. In fact, he called to say that there was an earlier time, did we want it and of course we did.
Appliance Aid is definitely the gold standard for appliance repair and frankly for customer service.
Hopefully nothing else goes wrong with any of our other appliances but when it does, I will be calling Fuad at Appliance Aid!
