Initially charming and responsive, just hope theres no issues- cause the warranty is worthless.

GTCC Renos out bathroom in early 2021 (completion in Jan). A leak developed after 20 months (Sept 2022). Its warranted by GTCC for 2 years. John, the Owner stated in writing it was covered when I reported on September 29,2022.

He has yet to make any attempt to come on site, he stated hed need his plumber to review - made no request to come on site. Just to let him know how MY leak investigation happens.

I outlined the investigation, that I did myself. I signalled the results to him in writing on October 19, 2021 :the leak was isolated to the toilet, when flushed, that was installed during the Renos that GTCC carried out, and that were still under warranty.No action.he asked where the water was being observed. No offer to come look or address, just asking where the water is. No response for weeks.

I told him after a month, a plumber would come to fix. He asked when. I told him it would be 2 days later, and I need my toilet fixed. No action. No follow up.for 6 weeks.

I told him the plumber had come, pulled/re-installed the toilet and the leak has been fixed. No response.

Ive written to him requesting he make good on the warranty (I.E. pay for the repairs since he couldnt be bothered to send someone over 8 weeks between me reporting/ he confirming its under warranty) to when it was fixed.

Ive been ghosted.

Buyer beware. The work will be done, but good luck getting him to stand by it. Youll see this on other sites.

Contractor even has the gall to advertise how good it looked when first completed!

Greater Toronto Custom Contractors recently completed a large reno project (2 bathrooms & kitchen) and did a fantastic job. Throughout the process they were very responsive and offered helpful suggestions throughout the process. All of the work was of top quality, stayed on budget and was completed before the very tight deadline. Throughout the process, John consistently kept us updated on progress and was able to quickly resolve any unanticipated issues. John assembled a team that were all a pleasure to work with and were able to make our vision a reality. Magnum Kitchens, also deserve recognition. They designed and installed our kitchen within an incredibly tight schedule and worked with us to ensure that we got a kitchen that met our needs. I would highly recommend GTCC and would definitely hire this company again.

Greater Toronto Custom Contractors did excellent job in our bathroom. Their workers were true professionals and also very polite. Whole project was finished in 5 days and on originally agreed time. I highly recommend this company.

We met John at the Home Show. He was very helpful in putting together a kitchen that worked for our needs and that was within our budget. We had a fast time frame to get the work done and everything was finished within a few days of our goal. The results are a sparkling new kitchen that we will enjoy working in.

Very professional and trustworthy. It was a pleasure working with this contractor. The payment process was very swift. The planning and organization was laid out in accordance to the Ontario building code

In the spring of 2019 we had water in our basement addition that was built in 1994. After receiving quotes exceeding $20,000 to dig up the room in the new addition, The contractor came up with a simpler less expensive solution by digging up outside the room and preserving the part of the 1994 weeping tile that was still working. For about 25% of the other people's quotes our problem was solved. We left the floor bare for a year to make sure everything was fixed. We have not had a single drop of water in the basement for a year and put down a new carpet. Both the owner and the workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves.
