Amasis Construction did an amazing job on the tiles at my house.

I had a tight schedule to get this job done and Amasis Construction came through for me, I would definitely recommend them.

Call and ask for Louis he was polite and did the work at a reasonable price

BEWARE! Louis Henry takes deposits and cant deliver on a project. Do not trust him or anyone from Amasis Construction for your project. I entered into written contract with Louis to pour a concrete pad for our home in order for us to install some steel stairs. A seemingly simple project which he completely screwed up and walked away from. Check out the state of the project in the attached photo. This is what he left us with after taking 80% of the money for the job. He cant quote properly, he can't manage a project and build to a site plan and he can't deliver a finished project. I ended up having to call 3 little pigs masonry who came in, fixed all of Amasis screw ups and got our project back on track. Call them instead.

The floors had to be reinforced between the joists and new plywood was supposed to be installed on top of the old one and screwed to the joists.
Roxul insulation in the ceiling, drywall ceiling and walls and ready for paint. He wanted upfront payments for both projects. Then he wanted 60% up front. I only paid the deposit for the floor project first and Mr. Henry still has it.

On one hand, the job was completed and the retaining wall Amasis
built is decent.

On the other hand, the project was filled with red flags that I shouldn't have hired this company.

I was quoted $5000 for the wall with a 50% deposit. Note - the link below states never to agree to anything above 10%.

Louis Henry took a month to quote, missed two appointments to meet at the job site with me, misjudged the amount of work in the quote (charging me an extra $450), The other 50% was requested before the final job was complete and before I was able to have a look at the finished product.

We agreed to hold back 10% for final completion. They didn't clean up the job site quickly and even after I complained, they left behind 1 large item. He then said he would charge me for that too, which I agreed to.

But here's the kicker - when I explained that he took too long, overcharged me, wasted my time, left stuff behind, etc... , he called me a coward and stated he would come to my home right away for the final 10% (see attached). In response, I suggested we meet in a public
place where I can give him the remaining payment. When he arrived at the public place, he came with another man, presumably to enforce payment.

Based on this interaction, it was recommended I file a police report and was told never to communicate with them again.

This took 4 months in total.

I ended up getting the mess cleaned up separately.

I would not recommend Amasis. Also note, their address is a mailbox in a Money Mart at 7777 Keele Street, Vaughan. So they do not actually have a physical location, another red flag.

Small renovation job in our Victoria house to remove a window and replace with drywall. The crew was polite and cleaned up when they were finished. The job was finished ahead of schedule, which was a nice bonus. Louis was great to work with and would not hesitate to recommend him.

i found amasis contruction through a previous customer. I got them to remodel my kitchen it was a pleasure working with them the job was done to completion and i was more then happy with the quality of work. The workers were polite and work space was clean and tidy. i would use them again if i need anything else done

I cant say enough about the great work Amasis construction did on my basement. They stuck to the schedule which was very important for me and it was exactly what I envisioned.

Even though it was a small job they still treated me like a was a big client. Top notch work all the way through. No question I would use them again.
