Exact same issue as reviews listed below. This company was paid for snow removal and never attended and completed the job they were paid to do. When a refund of money was requested for work they did not do their response was "sorry we do not do refunds". We paid another more reliable company to do the job and were never returned our money.
Stay away from these people!

I made a huge mistake in not researching this company's reviews before hiring for sod replacement! Read the reviews people!! They come in all happy and proud about their company but once you provide a deposit, the service goes straight downhill from there. Promised work dates and no shows. No one answers the phone or emails. If you do get a hold of someone, it's only excuses such as too much rain (maybe 2 drops at most), truck broke down, or short staffed. Once the workers do show up, they give a totally different answer for not showing up! Let's talk about equipment! For a landscaping company, my grandmother has better tools in her shed to do the job! Stay far away from this company!!!

Paid over $3,000 for snow removal at three properties for the season. It is now the third week of January and they still have never appeared. One of my tenants is trapped in their house because driveway has been plowed in. None of their phone numbers work and no one responds to email. They will take your money with no intention of doing any work. They cannot be trusted.

paid $15000 in March they said do job immediately, scrapped off grass to lay sod. September still no sod, 10% of concrete done, City send notice to me weeds all over exposed soil, excuses Covid & rain, can't work from May to end of Sept. Yard a mess, not graded properly, no fence started. Numerous times said they would be there tomorrow. They would send men out to work for half day only. Worst company I every dealt with. I think I got taken. Giving this company any deposit is a big mistake.
My yard has been a mess all summer with neighbors complaining too.

I had the worst possible customer service experience with JD Home & Lawn. Had a quote for $1200 to clear out dead plants and bushes in 2 large gardens, minor trimming, weed pulling, a full garden cleanup. As we were not sure about them yet, we changed our minds to 1 garden first to see how they did. My end price for 1 garden was almost the same as the 2 large gardens I was originally quoted for, ending up at $1000. 5 guys showed, 4 hours late,1 guy just sat in truck for the full 1.5 hours they were here, large weeds not pulled, they didn't have the tools to do a garden cleanup and the job should have been about 4 hours worth of work. When I asked the lead guy to trim the dead branches from the mungo pines, he reached under the bushes and broke branches off instead, They kept standing around and I kept having to go out and tell them what to do, Guys did not know anything about landscaping or gardening and worst thing was owner/manager called me in the morning to bug me on how I was going to be paying prior to the job starting. The service had not even been done yet. This was the worst service I have ever had in my life and I have never been so disappointed in a service.

If you check my reviews, you will see that I pride myself on giving positive feeback when companies do good work for my family or my business, but in this case I am sorry to say I would never use these people again, nor would I refer them to anyone.

Needing good service for our business and our home, we prepaid a considerable amount for plowing, icing and shoveling throughout the season, for BOTH places, and this company was dreadful. The $600 was for our home, and it was nearly double that for the business.

Throughout this horrible winter, despite many several-inch snowfalls, they came rarely if at all. When they did come, they were very late (often a day or two after the snowfall), the plowing was incomplete, very messy, and they never did our sidewalk or the walkway to the house properly at all (although again, it was discussed thoroughly and prepaid).

In St. Catharines, they fine you if your sidewalk isn't cleared, and we discussed it thoroughly before signing the contract. Nevertheless, when they actually did it at all, they would only clear half of it, and only in a very narrow strip (not the whole thickness of the sidewalk, or the whole length). At our home, we received notices from the city about it on more than one occassion and my husband had to go out and clear the walkway, despite our having paid for it.

Over the winter holiday they close the office for two weeks, and are impossible to get a hold of even when there has been very heavy snow and you can't get out of the driveway. Once, they were on site and I tried going outside to speak to them. They drove away, knowing I wished to speak to them, and when I called immediately following, they told me the truck was broken and they could not return.

Meanwhile, our next door neighbors drive was plowed and sidewalk shoveled every snowfall like clockwork by a different provider. Needless to say, we will never use this company again.
