Jonathan Santos is everything you want in a contractor. His carpentry and finishing work is impeccable, but what really shines is his approach to customer service.
We faced a number of challenges finishing the basement of my almost-100-year-old house. We were limited by a fairly low ceiling height, an uneven floor, and water leaking in. But he met each challenge head on, and really went beyond what most contractors would do.
He might be a little chatty, but I really appreciated being kept in the loop and up to date on what was happening throughout the project. He doesn’t cut corners and uses quality materials. He is honest and dependable.
For example, when there was minor hiccups, like the pilot light on my water heater going out, or someone accidentally mistook the furnace shutoff for a light switch... Jonathan came over right away to help troubleshoot. Evenings, weekends... didn’t matter. You can’t put a price on that piece of mind, and with Jonathan it’s included.
He makes sure the rest of his team has the same strong work ethic. Stefan, Liam, Jeff, Mike and anyone else coming on site, were all very polite, respectful, and always left the space tidy at the end of the day.
His pride in his work and attention to detail shows throughout, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again for any future projects and I recommend him whole heartedly to anyone looking to do any home renovations.
