We used National contracting for a gut rehab of our kitchen as well as remodeling some fireplaces in our living and family room. We had a very positive experience! Nav was accurate on the budget and timeline for the renovation (they told me 6 weeks, we were done on the Monday morning of week 7). They were clear communicators and very responsive. Nav would reply to messages within the hour if I had any questions. If Nav said workers were arriving at 9 am, that's when they arrived. And the kitchen looks beautiful, very quality work. All in all, very happy and have already started recommending Nav and his team to others who are looking for a contractor!

National contracting recently completed a hallway bathroom remodel for us and we couldn’t be more pleased. From the outset of the project, communication was exceptional, timelines were clear, and we always understood the scope of work and expectations around payments. We got weekly updates as the project progressed, so we were never wondering what was happening. We really appreciated being able to work with their suppliers for fixtures, stone, tile, and cabinets. We were able to pick out the colors and styles we liked and brands that fit with our budget.

Finally, the craftsmanship of the work was fabulous! We are so pleased with our new bathroom!

I highly recommend National contracting to anyone looking to remodel their basement! They took our unfinished basement and turned it into our favorite floor in our home. Our basement is now fully equipped with a beautiful layout that includes a half bath, full bar, large living space, separate gym, and storage/utilities room. They did a fantastic job from the initial design to the remodel. I was also impressed that the remodel did not intrude on our daily life/schedule. This company really has the clients best interest in mind each step of the way and make it as easy and as quick as possible. With any remodel you are going to run into problems. Nav and his team quickly addressed any problems and communicated with us every step along the way. One of my favorite things about this company is they cover every step of the remodel process- from the different trades to the inspections so that we did not have to do any scheduling or hiring ourselves. I can't recommend this company enough!

I bought a condo recently and updated the whole thing. Nav was so responsive and detail oriented. They update the bathroom, gutted and updated the kitchen, put in a new divider, and updated the walk in closets. In the middle of the project, the floors needed to be redone because of a flood in the building (no fault of the construction) and Nav was so helpful and patient in making sure the repairs were done quickly and I received so many compliments on my first home. I was shocked at how affordable it was. Their quotes were accurate and they were attentive and fair from the beginning. Thanks so much!

We used National contracting inc to remodel our bathroom in our apartment. Nav was truly a delight to work with, managing the co-op approval and guiding us through the design process. He is a great listener and communicator, quickly understanding what we wanted and what we didn't and making great recommendations. The project was done on schedule with great results, a huge thumbs up for this reliable and honest contractor, surely a rare breed these days.

We are very pleased with the beautiful, solid backyard deck Nav and his crew built for us, and have enjoyed entertaining on it this summer. Nav and his team were easy to work with, kept to timelines and came within budget. Building our deck meant working in a tight space with a slight slope, and Nav and his team met the challenge. Our small to mid-size urban deck, built to replace a previous one, now includes an eating area that accommodates a table for 10 or more, a smaller conversation area, and two built-in benches, one of which has been crafted to contain a planter. We appreciated that Nav communicated regularly with us on the deck’s progress, and left the worksite tidy at the end of each day. Thank you Nav and your team for your excellent work!

These guys were excellent. A++ I had an unfinished basement and 0 time to finish it. So I got a consultation, it was a good fit, and they took it from there. I received frequent email and text updates with options for paint and materials, and all I had to do was reply back with what I wanted. The whole thing was done within a month, and I was able to spend that time focusing on my own work instead of worrying and micromanaging. Every time I go down to do my laundry, it confirms that I picked a great company.

This old home desperately needed a bathrm upgrade! With this bathroom being the only bathrm in the house, and our very first major project, we required someone with an experienced team who would be able to handle the pressure of getting this job done a.s.a.p.! Nav and his team came to the rescue!
Professional, communicative (never left us in doubt), and most importantly, able to work with this little spaz! Nav and his team BRAVO!!

Update: 4 months later

First and foremost, I will not take anything back from my original written review (although I am taking some stars back). I meant every word of it! That said, I do feel obligated to the public to write an updated review.
Unbeknownst to me at the time I wrote the original review, a month later I would start seeing evidence of poor workmanship eventually resulting to structural damage and me having to re-do my shower stall.
Unfortunately, the renovated stall floor was uneven resulting in water pooling. This led to leaking which led to a damaged living room ceiling (damaged again. The first time happened when Nav accidentally punched a hole through it installing the stall). OOPS!
I reached out to Nav and he did swing by to survey the damage and the issue(s) Four major issues in total. We did make arrangements to fix the problems, but due to unforeseen circumstances (on both our parts), it never happened.
I had to reach out to Nav a couple of weeks later since I hadn't heard from him since our last interaction. We made arrangements again, and again, but I was stood up (no phone call), or flatly told that I would have to wait (tell that to the wood that is rotting). I made several more attempts to have these issues resolved but never heard back. Nav is now missing in action.
These guys are hard workers but unfortunately, the business does not stand behind their workmanship as evident through this experience.
This is our first home and the bathroom was our first major project. A project that took several years to save for. We trusted Nav and his team.
I am beyond devastated.

My project was a concrete job for my broken sidewalk. Their quote was the most reasonable out of the 4 quotes I received. He updated me on permit times and inspection dates and schedule of construction.
