I have used empower for a hot water heater and an AC. I had some concerns about the AC but the General Manager reached out and addressed these.

Hi Michelle, thank you for reaching out to us, we are glad we were able to clear up misunderstandings regarding the coil installation and maintenance. Just as a reminder, to avoid damage to your furnace going forward, please make sure to change out your filter regularly based on the size and type of filter that you have. The pleated 16x25x1 MERV 8 filters we carry usually last up to 3 months unless the home has more pollutants. But if you are still using your washable filter then please make sure to clean it more frequently, possibly every month or maybe more often based on your situation. Since a clogged filter can lead to the coils freezing again and damaging your furnace.
