David came over to my house , measured and then built this beautiful gas fireplace mantel. I gave Dave carte blanche and was very creative and everyone is impressed with workmanship.

For the past few years we were looking to get built/ins for our family room. We had several contractors come in to quote on the job and make recommendations. None of them ever have us the confidence that they could deliver what we were looking for.
Then came David from Cheresh Millworking and General Contracting. He had a vision and with his artistic talent he sketched a full picture of the built-ins with the fireplace. We loved the design shown in the drawing and trusted David to deliver the finished product just before the Christmas Holidays.

I appreciated the communication updates. David texted me regularly to update me on the progress of the project and what his crew was working on. The crew demonstrated integrity and were very approachable and friendly. There was an emphasis on quality with the long term in mind. We are very pleased with the results.

David / Cheresh came in with some great ideas for a newly overhauled kitchen. It is twice as big as the whole kitchen was before, and now connects with the dining room (one wall came down). Both areas are not only beautiful but seem much bigger, and are also much more functional now. I love showing the area off to visitors. With or without an audience, opening a drawer or cupboard door makes me smile. I'm smiling a lot! I would recommend Cheresh to anyone who wants a quality job.

We asked David to come in and give some suggestions for our great room as we wanted to create a feature wall using the existing fireplace. He designed a wall that exceeded our expectations by adding book shelves, a reclaimed wood mantle and also suggested a beautiful cathedral ceiling centred beam which fit the newly designed room perfectly.
We were thrilled with his workmanship and the professionalism of him and his team. We invited him back to give his suggestions in our new great room as we had previously enjoyed living in a custom home that he built 22 years ago.

I had contracted David to design and contruct a large sandbox for our memory care unit of the Retirement home @Davenhillseniorliving Not only did he design a beautiful piece for us but it was beyond my expectation. This piece of work was absolutely incredible and large enough for a couple of residents to sit in muskoka chairs with their feet in the sand, while listening to the sounds of the ocean. This incredible sandbox completed our "relaxation room" where those living with Dementia can relax and escape from everyday life. This totally added to the tranquil atmosphere I wanted to create.
I have hired David (Cheresh Millworking) for many jobs over the years and I have never been disappointed. He has always exceeded my expectation and created pieces that are extremely well finished.
