We purchased a 130-year-old home in downtown Toronto that needed considerable work, including removal of knob and tube, rewiring, and new indoor and outdoor outlets, switches, lighting and potlights. Moving from a condo and not being well-versed in the construction industry, we asked for referrals, made cold calls from internet searches and interviewed several companies. Most didn't want to take on the task of working downtown, removing knob and tube or quoted us extremely high prices as they felt it was a difficult job. We were very discouraged until we met Nik from Bos Electric because we instantly knew we had our team. Nik and his Bos Electric team were efficient, honest, responsive and did not cut corners. They treated our home as if it was their own and did high quality work. Given my wife and I are not from the renovation industry, there were several matters which could have been left as is or swept under the rug and we would not have noticed. In contrast to our experience with other trades, Nik and his team would identify and correct issues they noticed, big or small, even if it meant they had to do more work. They did not leave a task until they themselves felt it was perfect. Very importantly, Nik and his team stayed true and honest to their estimate. Looking back at our renovation experience, we made several mistakes in hiring trades for other non-electrical work and paid the price for those mistakes; Nik and Bos Electric were not one of our mistakes and were a shining example of how companies should treat customers. If I had to go through this process again, Nik and Bos Electric would be my first call. In my opinion, you will not find the honesty, trustworthiness, responsiveness and quality that Bos Electric offers anywhere else. Aside from the electrical work, I now look to Nik for advice and referrals for other non-electrical issues that arise in my home as he gained my full confidence as a person and owner of a company that will do right by you.
