Hired Tomas to do a bathroom renovation very poor quality in work uneven grout lines crooked bathroom door very concerned he didn’t waterproof behind shower walls ... uneven floors... please stay away from this contractor also payed him in full because he couldn’t afford materials because he spent the deposit on rent

I hired ZT Contracting to install a stand up shower in my upstairs bathroom, where there was a claw foot tub. Tom was professional in his approach but only before i complained.

I paid him in full for the job, then once he left at the end of the day, i inspected the workmanship and was terribly dissatisfied. The tiles were installed unevenly, there were visible cut lines almost serrated looking. A few ceiling tiles were chipped, and the shower door was unevenly installed. When i complained to Tom, he accused me of being a bad customer. I told him i was concerned that if the workmanship was awful, then perhaps the integrity of the shower was poor as well. I asked for some money back so that i could have the shower re-done. I am very afraid that he did a bad job waterproofing. And now when i stand in my shower, all i think about is falling through the floor, not to mention that i now have to inspect the ceiling below to ensure there are no leaks coming through. This is so upsetting to me, i cant afford to do the job all over again. I need my money back!
