I don't even know where to begin!! Our home got flooded on July 16th 2024. Within 3 hours of calling the insurance company I had Steven from Shield on site putting my mind at ease and letting me know the detailed plan to get everything done. Within 2days after that demolition started. My whole project was completed within just over 2 months (new walls/ new floors/ new everything). The entire team was excellent in keeping me in the loop, working around my work from home schedule to make it as least impactful as possible. My neighbours are only getting their demolition done - weeks after the flood. All of the contractors that were vetted by them were extremely professional and efficient . A special shout out to Cameron who came by the house one day to follow up and assisted my elderly mum in her time of need. God bless him!. I would never want to experience a flood or other disaster to our home but rest assured if we ever do have to go through anything like this again I will be glad to know that I can count on Shield Restoration for their professionalism, sense of urgency and overall their empathy and understanding. Top notch company and I feel very lucky I had them in my corner this entire time. And... to top it all off I got a charcuterie board :). Thanks guys!!

Shield restoration was truly wonderful. Steve came immediately to our flood damaged house and said he would look after us and he did brilliantly. We are older adults and he was very compassionate in his interactions with us. The work supervised by the project manager Brian was excellent and it was finished within the time frame that they had given us. The men and women who worked at the house were respectful and we appreciated that. It was a difficult time made much easier by Shield.

Shield restoration came in and took care of arranging for removal of debris, obtaining a pod for me to be able to put my contents in, and arranged for the resulting cleanup that was required. Overall they took a bad situation and made it much easier to deal with. I would recommend Shield Restoration to anyone that required any type of disaster assistance.

My Dad was in the process of selling his home when an ice storm hit and took out the power to the sump pump which caused major flooding. I called Shield and they were in the same evening to start the drying out process.
