Drakon Construction

The original project was to replace the old kitchen cabinets with an IKEA kitchen and the kitchen floor with a more modern one. We were lucky because the IKEA designer referred us to Drakon Construction. Ihor from Drakon came to give us an estimate for the Kitchen and floor installation based on the design the IKEA designer came up with. Ihor, with always a smile in his face, gave us new ideas on the design which we liked. We must have changed the design 3-4 times based on his recommendations and He accommodated the changes.
After we saw how well Ihor worked with us, we decided to make all the changes we wanted in the house with Drakon Construction.
The project now became bigger as follows: replace kitchen floor, replace kitchen cabinets, granite countertop, install island, replace upstairs and downstairs hallway floor, refinish basement and upstairs staircase and install iron spindles. Not to mention plumbing, electrical, painting and trim work as well as appliance installation was included.
Ihor brought in Ivan and his helpers and the demolition started. Ivan was equally pleasant to work with. The detail he put on his work is amazing.
They made sure all of the furniture in other rooms are protected and they cleaned everyday before they left.
I can go on for ever describing the good work these guys did in our house. I will only work with these guys for any future renovation needs.

Drakon Construction was very professional to deal with from the initial quote to the finished job. The workmen were courteous and always arrived on time. They were hard working and finished slightly ahead of schedule. They kept us apprised of what was happening and when, consulted with us as needed, and offered tips. At the end of the day, they typically went over the work completed to ensure we were satisfied and to answer any questions. They kept the worksite as clean and tidy as could be expected.

My husband and I were very pleased with the contractor and the work and would highly recommend Drakon. In fact we are planning to use them again for a small bathroom renovation.

We loved working with ihor and his team. We were refered to him but did our own due diligence and got quotes from other contracters too. He was the most reasonable and said it could be done in one day. His team comes in early on the day of and just gets it done. We messed up on our part and bought a sink too big for the cabinet, and ihor offered to coke back another day to install even though it was out fault. In the end they finished in one day and our kitchen looks beautiful. We have since moved into our house and everyday i love my kitchen and how smooth and perfect everything is. We bought our kitchen cabinets from Ikea and took their installation. For the general contract work, we decided to go with the general contractor (Ihor from Drakon Construction) whom the installers referred us to. Our entire Kitchen was renovated. Cabinets and countertop removed and new ones from Ikea installed. Floor tiles replaced, walls painted. Our project was started on time and finished on time. Ihor said we would have our kitchen for Christmas and delivered on that. The crew was very respectful of our space, our home and us. Ihor and the team were responsive to all our questions during the entire project. Very professional, clean and neat work. Our kitchen is small and simple but the wow effect is huge with the kind of work they have done. We are very happy with our kitchen and would go with Drakon for our future projects.

As new home owners with kids, we wanted to have a fully functional kitchen with an island. Ihor and team from Drakon made that a reality. They took care of all additional works required and finished on time. We can not thank them enough for always being punctual and highly reliable.
