We knew only that we wanted to replace an existing patio with a three season sunroom & deck: beyond that, we didn’t have a clue! Jimmy guided us through every step and requirement of the project. He even emailed progress photographs during a time when we had to be away from home. He stresses communication with his clients! Throughout the whole process, he was seldom not on site and when he couldn’t be here, he always came by at day’s end to check on the work done. If it wasn’t to his standards, the subcontractors were called back to make things right. He really does champion his clients’ cause! He holds himself and everyone who subcontracts with him to an extremely high standard. Near the end of the project, we joked that we were concerned we’d have to settle for a lean-to but ended up with a work of art! We did go over budget but that was mostly because of choices we made as the project progressed.

We used Portu-Galo for our basement finishing. We found Jimmy very professional with good interpersonal skills. From the quoting process to the finished basement it was a pleasure to work with him and Brian. They were in our house for four weeks and we never felt like they were in intruding. Their work was of the highest quality and any issues small or large were dealt with immediately and resolved. We were kept up to date on a daily basis and the next week’s plans were explain. They also did hardwood flooring upstairs and painted both levels. Their work again was of the highest quality. Our basement looks fantastic! We would highly recommend them!

We had just bought our retirement condo knowing it needed some TLC. We brought Jimmy in and he knew exactly what was needed. He worked very quickly and efficiently and did an incredible job.
