We were looking for someone to assist with a few different projects as part of our home reno, which included building storage solutions/rooms from scratch and shelving in our den. He was everything we were looking for: professional, accountable, always on time, communicable, respectful, fair in pricing, high-quality and very friendly. He made us feel confident in a process that can often feel intimidating and uncomfortable. We are so happy with his work. We found Andy on Homestars after reading a lot of reviews and company profiles. These days it is so difficult to find someone, let alone someone to at the least call you back. We feel fortunate that we found Andy because this project has take a lot of energy to get going. With Andy it has been a breeze. Amazing communication, fair quote, quality materials, and he is very knowledgeable when it comes to finding the right materials or which method of repair is best for the situation. We also went with his roofer and were really happy they could seamlessly co-ordinate their work flow. Andys roofer also did things properly rather than cutting corners. Thank you for getting the job done properly Andy, its a weight off my shoulders we will definitely be using you again.

Our general contractor installed a window for us, but then the contractor he had lined up to finish it on the exterior bailed. I put out a request on homestars and Andy called the next morning, and arranged to come by and do some measurements and get a quote and time estimate for me. He measured it up on the Tuesday, put in a call to get the materials, and said he anticipated it being about a week, dependent on materials. He called Friday morning to say the capping was ready and he could install it the next day. Within an hour the job was done, the window neatly capped and sealed, the workspace tidied up like he was never there! (He was also very lovely with our toddler who came to inspect his work, which always gets bonus points in our book!) we will definitely use him again.

Andy provided us with a lot of thoughtful options, and oversaw and took responsibility for other trades on the project.
We could not be happier with the outcome, and have no reservations about recommending Andy to our friends and neighbours.

I've had the pleasure of working with Andy over the past year and I couldn't be anymore satisfied with the entire experience. His communication, work ethic, professionalism and quality of work was all top notch. It all started with us hiring him to help us with some drywall repair after our staircase was replaced last year. Since then, we've hired him for various jobs ranging from framing, drywall installation, insulation/vapor barrier install, and various handyman services such as door repair, curtain installation and floating tv console installation. His rates are fair and he always has our best interests in mind. All in all, Andy has made our renovations a breeze, and we will definitely be hiring him for any of our future renovations and projects!

Andy was great. Hard working and fixed a big issue with my awning. Would highly recommend. He showed up on time and finished the work quickly.

We had a damaged door frame (just one side).
Andy provided a simple solution and was quick. The work did require some adjustment afterwards, which was understandable for this type of fix - but Andy offered to return and adjust his work to 100% and did not charge extra for this.
It is a pleasure to work with Andy. He is professional, clean and productive, definitely a 10/10. Highly recommend.
