I'm a pretty tolerant person and take up a lot of "mess ups" from the company before complaining. After a year, I noticed their services were ranging on the poor side after sending me non-professional cleaners. I received a lot of questionable cleaners. One cleaner even mentioned that my house was pretty clean and didn't complete the job thinking it's probably okay to not do those areas. There were cleaners and I ended up cleaning after them (this was 70-80% of the time). I would complain and the company does not respond. When they did respond and proposed to schedule a reclean, no one showed up on the day of the reclean. I would email them and they did not respond at all.

They are also inflexible. They will not clean certain things or do certain things, like move objects around so you can get behind them and clean them. Only one cleaner (who was actually a professional) cleaned the counters of my kitchen and the sink. But they do not touch anything else in the kitchen.

They also refuse to remove items from the fridge before cleaning the fridge. That would mean that someone has to be there to physically remove everything and put them back in when they're done. That means I'm losing a day's pay to stay at home so they can do a 1-hour job.

Every time a cleaner comes, it's a different person. I've requested multiple times to have the same cleaner. My schedule is fixed and I've committed for the year, so they should have the same cleaner coming and assigned to my home. Nope, this does not happen. I get different cleaners and end up with different and inconsistent results. A lot of post-clean-ups. I had a cleaner who used his hands to wring the mop instead of using the mop spinner. So his hands not only had dirty mop water but the floors were really wet and it could wrap the wood floors.

I had a cleaner who ruined a vintage console table (it was originally furnished in an executive office at CIBC) by wetting the table and placing paper on top that got stuck. The tabletop got ruined...

I would not pay for this service again. Desperately trying to find another service. If I need something cleaned, just CLEAN it. These services aren't worth it if you have certain cleaning needs. but if you need someone to do the bare basics that can take 2 hours to do, then it'd be easier if you do it yourself than hire this company. The low price isn't worth it. You get what you pay for.

I moved to Canada recently and rented out an apartment which I wanted to get thoroughly cleaned. I found out about them online and checked with them. With the add-ons and all the total came out to $400 which I was charged immediately.
On the day of cleaning, half an hour past the scheduled time they mailed saying there's no one available and the appointment was pushed by 2 days.
I tried calling them up and the nightmare began. Firstly, there are three lines - a booking one which is very prompt with no waiting time; a second one for upcoming and ongoing appointments - which you can never get past and whom no one responds to your voicemails on; and a third one for past appointments which again no one answers.

After much ado I managed to talk to a person who told me he will try to reschedule it 2 hrs down the line. After waiting for 4 hours I got no one and after multiple tries I finally managed to connect with them and they cancelled the appointment and promised a return within 10 days.

20 days down the line and I still do not have a refund. Fair to say it's as good as lost. Tired of following up with them.

Paid for 3 months worth. First job terrible. found tons unfinished. Then they never respond. Sent emails and phone call. No reponse. Sent photos of thick dust and dirt on floor and walls. No reponse.
Shocked. I want full refund. Though some of the work was done (maybe 30 mins worth out of 3 hrs! ) I Had to redo tons of the cleaning. Like Outside of toilet bowls. Floors. Counter. One of the sinks. Had to clean Two Shower drains ! Not touched! Shower nozzle gross! Etc. Had to re-mop and do mega dusting!

I purchased a 12 month package at a discounted rate. The cleaners came in for the first clean and did not clean even 1/4 of my house as promised. The cleaner stated that I had cat feces in my oven (which is obviously is not true) and that's why she did not finish the clean. The cleaner broke my $600 irreplaceable mirror. Scrubbi refused to replace my broken mirror. I asked to get my money back for the 11 upcoming cleaning services as I no longer was interested.

They sent a second cleaner to fix the first clean, that person spent 4 hours cleaning my oven and did not clean anything else.

I sent another complaint, they were going to send a third cleaner in, and then they cancelled the appointment day of.

At this point they were not willing to resolve or give me my money back, so I disputed the charges with my credit card company.

Now Scrubbi has sent my account into collections, further trying to ruin my life.

My credit card company is siding with Scrubbi because of their terms and conditions even though I was given the terms after they charged me. Watch out for this company. They will not clean your house and they will never give you your money back. Their cleaners are also not skilled professional and provided no training. I was home during the second clean and they did not know how to clean an oven.

Save your time, save your credit, save the stress. This company needs to be shut down.

I booked appointments with scubbi to clean my home. They didn't show up and then still refused to refund me the cost of the service. When I asked how it was possible that I wasn't able to get a refund for service they didn't provide that manager told that that is the policy they never refund even when they are at fault. I said i would be writing a review. She told me that that was my choice and made it very clear that they don't care at all about customer satisfaction. She did offer me free cleaning is it really free if I didn't get the one i paid for?

I paid for 1 year contract when I first stared there was a cleaner that was amazing sandy, she left and since they've been sending random people I've been very disappointed. I have to report every time what a bad job. I can't wait until they dont come back.

I purchased a cleaning package from this company and it has been such a headache.
Firstly, the person on the phone guranteed that my WHOLE house could be cleaned in 3 hours. I was very skeptical of this and told the salesperson that I can't even clean it in 3 hours but he assured me their professionals were really good. I asked to set up a sample clean and the sales person told me this isn't really something they offer, I knew this was a red flag and ignored it.

When the first cleaning was performed, I knew I made a mistake. It was a terrible job, and the whole house wasn't finished. With subsequent "cleanings", I have had to complain so many times over the quality of the cleaning. The cleaning lady we had before would do a great job and was much cheaper. I wish she hadn't retired.

DO NOT sign a contract with them. They send you poorly trained cleaning staff who do not know how to clean. I have wasted more time on this terrible company then I would have just cleaning my house myself.

We hired this company for a “deep clean/moving out clean.” I clearly expressed that we needed things cleaned very thoroughly as we are staging out home for sale. I specifically mentioned cleaning all cobwebs on the ceiling, scrubbing walls, baseboards, thoroughly cleaning the floors (not just running a mop over it), scrubbing shower grout etc. DEEP CLEAN. They said the oven, baseboards, cupboards all cost extra which I said was fine add it on. They quoted me between $500-600 which I thought was reasonable for what I was asking for. They send me an email the day before telling me to spray the oven with self cleaning spray and turn on the self clean and also take everything out of the cupboards. Why on earth am I paying EXTRA for someone to clean my oven and cupboard and then going to clean it myself?! In any case I was not in town as my daughter is in the ICU in London and even if I was I wouldn’t be spraying oven cleaner because I’m pregnant. The day of the cleaning comes they send ONE poor girl by herself to do ALL of that cleaning in 7 hours?! This is a 5 bedroom house (which they knew). I told them it needed a LOT. Nobody can deep clean a 5 bedroom house in 7 hours. I think she honestly did her best for how much time she had to cover the entire house, but t was a VERY superficial cleaning. The baseboards were filthy, all the spider webs were still in the ceiling, cupboards weren’t touched, furniture was still filthy, didn’t clean under any furniture. Downstairs bathroom looked literally untouched other than the sink. She basically gave everything a quick once over if that. As soon as they contacted me about how things went, I told them I wasn’t satisfied with the fact they sent one girl for 7 hours to do $600 worth of cleaning and that the job was not anywhere near complete. They told me to send them the specific details of what wasn’t done. I did put these details in a satisfactory survey Thing they sent me and they responded to that that they would call me the following day. nobody called me that day. I didn’t call them because I am busy! The reason I’m paying someone to clean my house in the first place is my daughter is sick and I can’t be there to do it and I can’t waste my day supervising a cleaner to calling them back when I just get put on hold and told to leave a message. So the following day (2 days after the supposed cleaning) I sent them an email, again, detailing all the work that was not completed. By this point my mother in law had done the brunt of the work and the rest I had to drive home to Finnish myself !!! I got a response that someone will call me on Monday. They called me to tell me that because I didn’t arrange someone to come finish the cleaning within 24 hours of the cleaning that I could not have it re-done and my only option was to have a $250 credit on my account!! What on earth to I want a $250 credit for? I’m moving and they don’t serve the city we’re moving to. So now I wasted almost $600 getting my house not cleaned by Scrubbi and have a useless $250 credit. I have no idea how this company has 4.9/5 stars. I would have given them 3 stars for their work but between that and their horrible customer service i give them 1 star.

Fell for their slick marketing, trying to get out. Signed up for 6 months, saw the math was wrong on the bill, they said I signed up for a year. Not the case. I asked for a correction, they said no. I asked for a refund, they said no. Yes, they say on their website no refunds, but I think it is reasonable to get my money back for services not yet rendered. Also, you might get a good cleaner, you might get some inexperienced person who passed a background check and has a heartbeat. Stay far, far away.
