Cliff was a pleasure to work with.

Until the pandemic hit, his crew were ahead of schedule. Unfortunately our project dragged on due to Covid restrictions and shut downs, but eventually it got completed and done right.

I got several quotes for the project and Pegasus was not the lowest or the highest, but came with a great reputation.

I’m glad I went with them, and will be asking them to quote another project for me at a different property as such.

We were completely satisfied with Pegasus. Would recommend them without any hesitation. They completed a major underpinning job for us, in a semi-detached home. Note: this project Was delayed, changed, paused and started due to COVID. Cliff was able to roll with the punches and adjusted as required. He quickly responds to texts and picks up his phone or calls back within 30, that’s valuable.

Cliff and the team at Pegasus were outstanding. We own a row house that had no basement. We wanted a basement with 9ft ceilings that we could turn into a one-bedroom rentable apartment. We came up with a plan with Cliff's help to excavate under the existing house to create our new basement unit whilst supporting the house above. At the same time, we created a sunken garden for the basement at the front of the house with an extensive retaining wall. When you take on a project like this, you don't know what you will find, fortunately for us we choose Pegasus, and it went like a dream. From the start Cliff was honest about what could be done for our budget, he pointed out cheaper ways of constructing and where it cost a bit more because of site issues he was entirely "open book" with us on cost. The guys on site all knew exactly what they were doing, we had the same crew for the whole project, not switching out every day like stories you hear. They kept the job site clean and washed the street after every concrete day. Cliff and the team managed the building inspectors visits worked with our Engineer and coordinated the trucks on our narrow residential street. The project was very challenging but was a complete success; we could not have asked for more. Thanks, Cliff and all the guys on your team.

Pegasus provided an exceptional service. Their leadership and crew was very professional and skilled. They are very reliable and take full responsibility for their work.

They completed the underpinning and lowered the basement floor by 2’2”. They also removed load bearing walls and installed one steel beam to span 33 Ft and carry the weight of 2 floors. The work was definitely very challenging; however, they knew exactly what to do and delivered a perfect product.

I am very happy with my choice of Pegasus Underpinning to complete an underpin of our property in the Beach neighbourhood. I initially met with Cliff and after seeing his quote I signed on with him. His quote was approximately the same price as other quotes I had received but his quote was much more thorough and transparent in outlining the job and some potential situations/problems that could arise from such a job, as well as exact costs related to any problems.

Bernard was the lead for the team that completed the underpin and he was awesome. He and his crew showed up at the same time every morning, worked hard, were tidy and organized and were just a good group of guys. Sara and I both felt really comfortable having them around which makes a big difference for a project of this scope. It was also evident that they took pride in/enjoyed their work, and the company they worked for.

If I ever had questions or concerns Cliff almost always answered his phone, and if he didn't he would call me back within a half hour without fail. For a job this size, many questions and concerns can come up and it gave us peace of mind to know that Cliff was always available to explain things. The underpin is now complete and looks great. The quality of work is definitely there and I now will be using Pegasus to frame out the new basement.
