Cliff and the team at Pegasus were outstanding. We own a row house that had no basement. We wanted a basement with 9ft ceilings that we could turn into a one-bedroom rentable apartment. We came up with a plan with Cliff's help to excavate under the existing house to create our new basement unit whilst supporting the house above. At the same time, we created a sunken garden for the basement at the front of the house with an extensive retaining wall. When you take on a project like this, you don't know what you will find, fortunately for us we choose Pegasus, and it went like a dream. From the start Cliff was honest about what could be done for our budget, he pointed out cheaper ways of constructing and where it cost a bit more because of site issues he was entirely "open book" with us on cost. The guys on site all knew exactly what they were doing, we had the same crew for the whole project, not switching out every day like stories you hear. They kept the job site clean and washed the street after every concrete day. Cliff and the team managed the building inspectors visits worked with our Engineer and coordinated the trucks on our narrow residential street. The project was very challenging but was a complete success; we could not have asked for more. Thanks, Cliff and all the guys on your team.
