Kenneth seemed genuine and professional at first. He came to assess the project and committed to doing the job which was a redo on soffit, fascia and gutter on a home addition. He then committed to coming Friday (I had to reschedule my framer so he had the place all to himself). Kenneth canceled last minute as he said -10 was to cold for him. He came the next day while I was out of town and said he was just getting started and promised to have the work complete before the evenings snow storm. when I returned the following day nothing had been done. Kenneth disappeared and is no longer returning my calls. An absolute waste of my time. Stay away people!

The review submitted by Brody from Sherwood in Calgary would have been more accurate had he accurately reflected the circumstances of his renovation and outlined the reason why he needed a professional to redo his soffit & fascia (eavestrough & downspouts were not yet installed).
Brody mentioned when initially contacted that he attempted to install the soffit & fascia himself but was unhappy with his effort and wanted a better finish. During the site visit he reiterated his dissatisfaction with the installation but then deflected the result to the workmanship of another contractor.
It was agreed during the site visit that the repairs would be completed when other trades had completed their work and were no longer on site given the condition of the site (small untidy back yard with demolition debris everywhere) and safety concerns related to working above other trades.Prior to arriving on site to complete the repairs, Brody indicated that he would supply all the necessary materials to have the work completed. On arrival, there was no material on site, Brody advised during a call that he forgot to purchase the items, so he suggested that previously installed material could be reused OR materials could be salvaged from "somewhere in the back yard under the snow".
Given that all the previously installed material was damaged from being hammered into place, and could not be reused, an attempt was made to secure the material from Lowes but supply was limited.
Brody was advised that new materials would be purchased directly from the supplier, Gentek, after the long weekend and work would be completed after the snowfall had subsided and temperatures improved.
It is unfortunate that Brody chose to post a negative review because he was unhappy that his repairs were not completed over the Family Day long weekend. It would have been our pleasure to help Brody, hopefully he is able to complete his project to his satisfaction.
