Lavish Painting

Based on Home stars recommendations best of 2021, I decided to go with Lavish Construction paint & Wallpaper contactors.
Based on my experience i would like to provide our honest feedback on the services provided by them and take this opportunity to help other while selecting a painting job.
I would not comment more as this work of him speaks. It’s a devastating experience and never recommended.
We gave the painting job to Mr.Jawad in the second week of August and he promised to finish the work in 3-5 days. The work included painting the main and top floor of the house with accent walls and wall paper installation in powder room. We agreed to the payment terms and the regular work hours.
As decided, he started the work with his assistant and did the initial cutting for 2 days and after that Mr.Jawad didn’t show up for 5 days in spite of multiple calls and messages. He keeps giving reasons for not showing up. We got to know that he took up another painting job, buying time from us to complete the job there. He sent a guy to install the wallpaper without informing us and we don’t know anything about how the work is done. The wallpaper installation got screwed up with multiple patches. Mr.Jawad was supposed to be present while this installation was happening but he never showed up to instruct or supervise the work. He came on and off to do the work and mostly in the late evenings and nights though we agreed to do the work in the mornings only. We were quite as it was already getting delayed.
13 days passed by and still he didn’t finish our work and we were surviving in the dust and all our furniture delivery was getting delayed as we were holding them in the warehouse. We were in the middle of nowhere.
We finally decided to hire others to finish the work that’s when Jawad showed up and stayed late night to finish the work. We said we don’t prefer painting to be during night because of visibility and quality but he rushed and finished the accent walls in haste without giving chance for the walls to dry to see if everything’s fine. He even promised he will come up to fix if we notice any patches. The paint got spilled in one the rooms and our carpet got damaged beyond repair.
Next day morning, we noticed painting patches on of the accent walls was not fixed properly and we immediately sent the pictures to him and requested him to come and fix them for which he denied saying his task is done and that we need to pay extra to visit and fix the things and said time is money. He took 13 days to complete the work only to leave one of the walls spoiled, wallpaper was screwed up and carpets damaged. This clearly shows his lack of professionalism and commitment towards the work. When he says time is money, he should realize and respect other’s time as well. He is the one who pained late night which is not acceptable and not waiting for it to dry and asking for more money to fix it which is not acceptable.
