Our house was built in the 1970's, most of it had been previously renovated with the exception of the kitchen & family room which had a lot of paneling, beams and "Spanish" style stucco on the walls and ceiling. I decided the best thing was to go down to the studs, refinish the walls and ceilings with new drywall and install new flooring and thought I could do the job myself!
I completed the gutting and installation of new drywall, however we wanted to put the house on the market and this took so long, we decided we needed help to finish the project. We thought it would be hard to find someone to finish off a job but a friend recommended Edge Renovations.
Tim came to have a look at what was involved, he was extremely personable and professional. He looked over everything, made some suggestions and did point out that he and his crew were very busy but would try to fit us in between projects already scheduled.
It did take some time but when they finally arrived, what great guys they were. We were given a time frame and an indication of what would be completed daily. They even took time to research and locate crown molding to match that in the rest of the house and gave suggestions re paint colour etc.
We decided to leave the old kitchen cupboards for now so Tim took measurements of the kitchen and offered to prepare a plan to replace the units in case we decide to go ahead before listing.
They accommodated all our requests, everything was completed as scheduled and the house and the back yard (where any cutting was done) were left clean and tidy every day. They did a fantastic job and we would highly recommend them.
